Well, I wasn't being serious, but true.

Is this the end of the Bosman ruling in this country?

I don't think we have the Bosman rule anymore, but a varient of and that's agreed with UEFA? I can't see that would be different - Swiss/ Norwegian players don't require a work permit?

Given the money involved these days, even compared to 20 years ago I would expect an agreement/ ruling that would keep the status quo of he clubs operate currently.

If not - well everyone complains that there at never enough English players in the PL!

The PL must generate billions for the UK each year, I can't see them wanting to stop it. At worst there will be an amnesty for players already here and under contract.

Me too, but yes, he must have had a Gordon Strachan moment as soon as the new manager was apparent.

You could (slightly harshly) blame DDG for tje Italian goal, but so glad the has been able to showcase his capability on the big stage. All that practice behind our defence is to Spain's benefit at the moment.

Is this Pogba stuff straight up? I've been impressed with the way things have gone so far but this one sounds like a Jim White on deadline day special.

I think its all driven from Juve - they would have sold him last summer if they got a decent offer. Certain to end up at Madrid. 20/30 players each summer and linked.

Looks like the Dortmund player and Zlatan will arrive soon.

There's a rumour on the City forums that there's a deal in place to bring Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Mkhitthingymagic to United. If it was a rumour about City, I'd keep quiet, but as its United, I thought that I'd post it here for you lot to discuss

The Manchester Utd Thread 2015/2016

Same agent, I don't see Pogba arriving, the other 2 look nailed on.

The fee being touted for Pogba is also outrageous!

Ibrahimovic is coming. He's just confirmed it on Instagram.

Pogba fee seems crazy, but all the chatter so far has been 100% correct.

Good move all round - there are so few decent strikers around at the moment. If he did well he could stay another year, you wouldnt think Rooney was 4 years younger! Should be great for our young strikers as well.
