...look on the bright side, if the Hammers had won today we'd be down to seventh!

I think it's about £1.1m per Premier League place, might be nothing to United, but I'm sure Bournemouth would like the extra cash.

Seems ominous though, must be a serious threat as there must be loads of abandoned packages at football matches

The way I look at it is whatever happened today, neither United nor City could have had too many complaints. We've both been so hideously inconsistent that leaving it to the last game is unforgiveable in both cases. Sure, we got the draw that we needed, but we've hardly covered ourselves in glory in the league.

Didn't Fergie state that never again would United lose out to City on goal difference? (Admittedly, he did say "on his watch").

Probably give him the FA Cup I'd have thought. Bit irritating for you that this needs to be rearranged (possibly midweek?) and getting a little less rest than Palace

I just feel sorry for all the fans who travelled all the way from the south coast.

And the Bournemouth fans too.

I have no wish to see that **** leading the team out at Wembley. I don't want to see him lift any trophy. Giggs should do it. It will ruin my day to see that flat faced loon at Wembley.

Well, if the army are blowing up anything 'non-viable' at Old-Trafford then LVG's days might be numbered

So the game has been re-arranged for this Tuesday - I hope the academy players enjoy the game.

SSN reporting from GMP that the device found was a training device accidentally left behind by a private company

I suppose mistakes happen, everyone gets a refund and free admittance to the Tuesday game! Players have now had a decent rest and if they play the kids on Tuesday, then a fortnight off before the Cup Final. It's got LVGs name on it!

Yes but I'd presume they have nothing really to play for in the league? The sixth position which they can't be taken out of will now get a Europa League slot since City got the last CL slot, so there League Cup slot is up for grabs.

I'd guess they'd play the kids.

Or he plays the full team to get a point to get that extra £1.3 million...
