I'm not saying it was the greatest performance, but you won and played alright. Always shaky at the start of the season, the BBC pundits seem to think there are plenty of positives.

If you're going to take to message boards every time an attack breaks down or they fluff a pass, you're going to have a miserable time as a fan.

I don't recall in living memory when Man United would have met your standards of play, each year they fail to win every game, drop a few points, etc.

So why not just sack it off and go and support Celtic who probably have the best chance of winning their league.
WTF?? No-one is saying we should win every game...don't think that's EVER happened has it...but it's the way we play that United fans have issue with. We are so boring to watch and that ain't what we're used to...at least not the fans who've been supporting United B.M. (...before Moyes)!

Seems it's just about the result for you...for me I want to be entertained, thrilled, inspired by high drama, by gifted players giving their all. I want these 'gladiators' to appreciate that the people watching them are the sole reason they enjoy such a lavish and pampered lifestyle and stop play-acting on the 'field of battle' with their embarrassing displays of cheating!

...and stop all the hugging and kissing of opponents in the tunnel pre-match, it's ****in' nauseating!!!

Maybe read the thread a little more, usually it's serious complaining if you haven't won and middling complaining when you have won.

To be fair, there's usually only one person doing that.

Give it a break. Every forum I go on (but don't comment on) have many people commenting as the match progresses. Red Cafe fills a page a minute, often more. Twitter & Facebook have people commenting every second. The Liverpool thread often does the same.
Tell the owners & advertisers on this forum that you don't want people commenting on actions while a football match is happening, & they will be happy that everone move along to Facebook, twitter & one of hundreds of forums where you can comment without bitchy, childish remarks. Oh I tried supporting Celtic & they lost... so there...

We get one back...we can still win this...not sure I care any more!

Mourinho has to go, he really does...he's killing United!

3-1 poor , poor, poor.

We could not play worse if this lot was sacked & we played our next 11.

You can criticise José, but the players have to look at themselves

A huge amount of money spent on bang average players and it's turd to watch.

What is Jose's philosophy? How are we supposed to be playing? What's our style and formation?

Just looks like a catalogue of haircuts and sponsorship hoardings turning up for a kick about in-between media appearances.

It's just horrible watching United these days...I wonder if it's some sort of deal we've made with the devil and we're now payi ng for all our blissful success!

We will lose and the title contenders will leave us behind making our season just a borefest ordeal...you can only hope, really hope that the Portuguese **** just gives up and ********* off very, very soon... ...maybe we need Pogba to lead a dressing room revolt to get him out like at Chelski?!

...it's just heartbreaking to see, hope Fergie's not watching

I agree, but he trains them & he picks them. The board has a lot to be desired as well. Other than Sanchez, I can't remember us buying a quality player in years. Before anyone starts on Sanchez, he can only play in positions he is told to with 9 hopeless players alonside him.

Pogba is a World Cup winner. He should be putting in world class performances on a regular basis, not just one 45 minutes against City.

There's plenty of quality on the pitch today, they're just not performing. I can't believe José tells them to play ***** and they do it.

You don't want to look at the Red Cafe thread today, but I agree with this.
Quote:
Look at the drastic difference between how City play and how we play, our players are all extremely far apart, there is no passing options for a player, no clever movement, no quick one touch passing, it's all slow, laboured and ******* predictable. I've been parroting the same thing over and over again for 2 years, nothing has changed. I fully expect Mourinho to throw the players under the bus and the usual Mourinho fanboys will descend to the forums to criticize the plyaers, owners, fans while defending the pathetic coaching that Mourinho is doing.
