We shouldn't be getting beaten at home by Burnley. Not with the amount of cash we've splashed. The next 45 minutes will say a lot about the players we've got.

Ibra gone off, he's still not really match-fit. I hope he gets back to where he used to be as we're missing his hold-up play so much this year.

Well, the last time Burnley beat us at OT was September 1962 (...the same month and year I was born) 55 years ago!

The actively 'not bothering' about this team in 2018 will definitely feature in the New Years resolutions methinks...life's far too short to be forcing misery on yourself.

How many times have they played us at OT since?

We scored in added on time, should we not have had a few seconds on top of the five minutes? The most depressing thing is that I don't even feel robbed. These last few matches have been 60% effort every time.

Jesse, Mata, Ashley Young, De Gea: every week these four put in a shift. The rest drift in and out of consciousness. Lukaku back to being the on the wrong side of everything again. I'm not sure how you can fix it when the manager doesn't appear to recognise the problem. Fergie was not afraid to lose some big egos to make the team work more effectively, but so many of these 'stars' are all tied into the same agent, you lose one you'll end up with problems elsewhere.

Ah. Life's too short. Hope everyone had a great Christmas, I'm getting back to it!

Still haven't lost a Premier League match with him in the side.

Sad thing to bear in mind is that he makes us a better side.

We haven't won one since he came back from injury, & with respect, to teams you would well expect to win, & win well. The biggest waste of money in Uniteds history, & there have been a few over recent times including lukaku.

Didn't we beat Arsenal, you know, when he got sent off?

Not sure he's surpassed the Veron level of "waste of money", he's not even beaten Bebe yet!

Thereís no comparison between Lukaku and Pogba. The former is a donkey, he will score goals, but wonít ever create his own chances. Iím not sure why some people are so down on Pogba, unfortunately him and Matic canít do it all by themselves.

Because he has a funny haircut and cost a lot of money.

I agree pogba & Matic can't do it by themselves, but I have no time for a player who is so lazy he can't get out of bed to go training. This attitude always carries itself onto the football pitch.

You've been down on him for months and that story only came out last week.

So, Micon seems to be a good judge of character... ...that Pogba guy is a big time charlie, a legend in his own head...can see why Fergie got shot of him!

I think he might turn into a decent player, just nowhere near the price you paid

This has been said of many players at United over the years...some did, some didn't...but when the price tag is so huge you expect them to have already 'turned'! Too much ego with nowhere near enough justification.

...I like him marginally more than I do Maureen, best I can do

I don't think it's ever fair to use the price tag against a player, it's not like they set it themselves, nor did we have to pay it.

We've arguably overpaid for many, many players, but we can afford it (that's why the price always jumps up when we get involved), so I don't see the problem.

That was about the agent, not the player, wasn't it?

Fergie didnít want rid of him. But thought he wasnít ready at the time, and Pogba didnít get the game time he wanted - he ran his contract down and we wanted him to stay.
