Wow. Not a Liverpool fan but a good time to venture to the pub to watch a game.

Cheeky, but very inventive for the 4th goal, but fair play.

What a night at Anfield. No Salah,no Firmino,no Keita, Robertson crocked at half time - and kicked in the goolies by Kompany last night. The mental strength of those players is immense. Astonishing.i feel sorry for the three empty seats beside me in the upper main, they've missed some game.

Fantastic result. Well played Liverpool...think it’s your year.

Seems like a long time ago that people on this thread were calling for Klopp to be sacked!

Wholeheartedly agree.

The 3-0 score line last week flattered Barcelona and I thought we might win yesterday but didn't think we'd win by enough.

LOL at 3-0 I was thinking "OK, I'll settle for extra time and penalties and not get home til 4am" With everyone in the Kop standing up all game, no one round me had a clue what TAA did at the corner we just saw Origi smashing it into the net.

Not sure "**** off Suarez" was the welcome he was expecting

We'd still take him back, given the chance.
You could almost say we'd bite their hand off.......

The club has received an allocation of 16,613 tickets for this all-ticket fixture.

Within the allocation of tickets received, approximately five per cent are Category 1, 21 per cent are Category 2, 54 per cent are Category 3, and 20 per cent are Category 4.

Category 1: £513 (£410 restricted view)
Category 2: £385 (£308 restricted view)
Category 3: £154 (£120 restricted view)
Category 4: £60
Not at those prices - no !!!

Knowing my luck ... I wouldn't get through in the ballot anyway and if I did I would lumbered at the top price ticket level ( which is just £200 cheaper than my 2019/2020 season ticket renewal price )

That's steep. £410 for a restricted view!

Think I'd have preferred Ajax in the final, just as it'll be horrible if we lose to an English team in the final

Having said that and watching it back, he should have been sent off for two horrendous dives in the first half last night

With the exception of the ticket prices & allocation for the game itself, I don't understand how the "cost of going to the CL final" still (or even) qualifies as news.

It is simply down to supply and demand. If the hotel and flight prices had been at their current level for the past 12 months then people would have a point but they haven't.

I know plenty of LFC fans who have direct return flights and 2 nights 4* B&B accommodation in Madrid for between £250 - £300. How ? They booked it all up - on a full 100% refund cancellation basis - the minute UEFA announced where and when the CL Final was going to be (12 months ago). Others got a similar price by booking the minute LFC made it out of the group stage.

It's no different from travel companies putting prices up during the school holidays.
That's not to say it isn't cynical and nasty, but what are you going to do?

Who the hell would jinx your chance of getting to the final by booking flights and accomodation, that being said I suppose it'd be a good atmosphere. I remember friends booked train tickets to the play off final when we were 2-0 up at half time (Forest), naturally we lost

Plenty of ways to get to Madrid if you can be bothered to go out the way a little

Someone who wants to save up to £1k on a trip perhaps.

There is no doubt that there are multiple ways of getting Madrid but anyone looking now is not going to get much change from £500 regardless of how far out of the way they go.

You think the club would organise a load of flights, do they not?

I would never jinx our chances by booking something before we had got there. I hate seeing homecoming plans before anythings won as well, another possible hex.anyway I'm in the ticket ballot, I've got a friend in Madrid I can stay with, possibly would look at train options.(I get free and reduced travel)

In the ballot as well ( but there are no details, from what I can see, about chances of success; apparently Kiev ballot was 1/3 ). Crazy to think I was put in a queue just to register for the ballot - next Friday, if successful in the ballot, is going to be a nightmare.

Travel and accommodation plans don't bode well when you get a text saying "are you happy sleeping in a tent?"
