Utd!!!!

Wow, didn't realise country protection had gone. I like our odds a lot better than last time.

Don't you mean the last 4 times?

All bets are off. Thursday nights FTW.

Massive two games given it's probably both teams last chance saloon for CL qualification. United clear favourites, above us in the league and Van Gaal's phenomenal record against us (5 out of 5,he beat us in the States one pre-season) A possible help to us is the free week we'll have between the ties,United will have an FA cup game in between.

No, I meant exactly what I typed.

New manager, with a most of our attack back in action, and regaining fitness.

I think it's irrelevant to be honest. These games never really go to form. I seem to remember you beating us quite frequently when we were regularly winning the league and you were light years behind.

Interesting draw BBC say it's the first time the clubs have met in European competition.

Depends if United can put out a fit 11 at that stage...

20:05 KO at Anfield, 18:00 at OT. Spurs home league game moved to a 17:30 KO on the Saturday.

Tried really hard to get a ticket - no dice. Serves me right really for only having Southampton away in my CL history.

Even with ET and pens it should be done well before 8.

Great save from Mignolet half way through the half.

Amazing dive from Otamendi toward the end

Can't believe Fernando hasn't been booked yet. Wonderful save from Migs.

Sakkho didn't look happy at all going off; dressing room might be a bit tense with him at the moment

Yeah, "Migs" really covered himself in glory for City's goal.

What appalling goalkeeping. Shocking way to lose a cup if that's how it turns out. Awful.

Ah classic Mignolet This match sums him up really, good save in the first half and then lets one in that was basically going straight to him
