Well Ihope the UK price srops some before release. I have pre-orders on both sides of the pond, and at this point the US is about £20 cheaper. Yes, I'll have to wait for it to arrive, but with previous US orders, that has not taken too long...

I was expecting the UK set to be around £150, so I'll still probably get it at this price.

Now reduced to a very nice £109.99 on Amazon.co.uk

A lot cheaper than Amazon US now!

Get it ordered at this lower price now, in case it goes back up again!

That's amazon UK selling the US BluRay release. Tut. They aren't supposed to do that because it's not BBFC certified. It's not a Uk release. I guess they are doing it as the US BluRay isn;t region-coded, whereas the DVD's almost certainly will be.

Discount site. You send in a "demand" as they call it, for a product, and they offer you a discount on the list price. You can reject or accept their offer; if you reject it they sometime sincrease the discount. It can be around 5-10%

Used to be for any web store, but now it;s just Amazon stuff. Worth a punt though.

My copy arrived a day early from Amazon. Watched the first couple of episodes and can't believe how great it looks. Nice mono soundtrack too, for the purists.

Dunno if it's a big deal to anybody here, but the UK version of the set doesn't include the Ultraviolet copies (despite the Amazon UK box art picture).

There is a listing for the Batman Boxset on UK Flixster as was redeeming X-Men and this was listed as one of the other new releases.

Totally bizarre. Kinda disappointing too. I never really use Ultraviolet, but I always redeem them before they expire (you never know when they'll come in handy).

I read that some guy complained to Amazon because it was mis-marketed and got an £11 voucher as a goodwill gesture. So I tried the same thing, and they've instead shipped out a replacement.

Wait, so you are getting a complete extra set? Surely worth a little more than £11...

(drop me a PM with postal charges and I'll help you out with it if you want)

Haha, no. They wanted me to return the other one.

I've managed to cancel the the replacement anyway, thanks for the offer.
