Hopefully they can get something like this working well. Future episode to directly tie in with the events of the latest Thor movie

Well after 5 episodes I am completely underwhelmed.

Clark Gregg is always watchable - but the 2 genius scientists are sooooo annoying and unbelievable. And way to young.

Its seems incredible they want you to believe an organisation like SHIELD would send such a young and inexperienced group on world important missions.

Shame, a really missed opportunity.

The joke is that in the Avengers, we're introduced to SHIELD as being a huge global network comprising thousands of agents across the world, with massive resources and high tech military hardware, and yet this show depicts that world as basically 6 people going around in a jumbo jet doing everything....

Much much better this week, annoying characters toned down as much as possible without them actually changing characters

A missed opportunity to give the annoying scientists an emotional departure before refocusing the series on the more interesting characters (and Ward).

I think you need to come to terms with the fact that those two aren't going anywhere.

Arrow managed to killed off the irritating Tommy Merlyn so there's still hope.

A massive step up in quality last night with a focus on character alongside the action. Particularly liked Coulson's conversation with the firefighter.

Was it ?? I thought it was the same as usual tbh with slightly less bickering as the episode went on

I really do hope it gets better, I don't dislike it, just feel it could be so much better

Re: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I thought it was just another average episode.

Agent Coulson is the best thing in the show.

Having now seen the new Thor film i guess there going to turn the show into Primevil. But with Elves instead of Dinosaurs.

I think the problem I have with SHIELD is that they are going for a 6 member Scooby Gang which worked fine in Buffy due to the setting etc, But but is completely wrong for this series as SHEILD is meant to be this massive organization and I think most people were maybe expecting something along the lines the early series of The X-Files (not a perfect comparison, but its the only one I could think of)
