Just seen this. Absolutely gutted for his wife and children. And in my own selfish way i'm gutted that i'll never get to see his career develop as it should have. He was absolutely brilliant as Spartacus.

He seemed like such a quiet and humble man. I always had the impression he'd be back after seeing his Comic Con appearance. But sadly, it wasn't to be.

What a shock! I'd been quietly hoping he would be well enough to cameo in Season 2 with a bit of creativity from the writing staff. Sadly, not to be.

I only hope this raises awareness of blood cancers in general and how anyone can be affected, even people as young and healthy as Andy was perceived to be.

RIP Andy, and thoughts with your family and friends.

So sad, when I look back to how i couldn't get into the first episode but stuck with it so glad i did because i would not have experienced a great performance by what sounds like a great guy!
