Did anyone believe the "homesick" story? FFS she's probably had longer holidays than that.

I don't think it had anything to do with her accent, she offers nothing much and she's only on XF UK because she's in the flipping papers all the time. I think it's a good thing for the show although I don't think her replacement is much better. The programme needs bigger names not Cowells mates

I reckon they underestimated the impact The Voice has made and with AI still doing really well in the ratings and breaking voting "records" the execs at Fox probably knew they have to step up the game with this one or face a hugely embarrassing and costly flop.

Still, nice to see that the poor girl isn't losing out financially - she's still getting her full $1.2M fee. Nice money if you can get it.

Can she not just take her Ł1.2m and retire. Really not a bad result for a week's work. I see she is likely to be back on the UK version now FFS

like that wasnt the plan from day one. Nice bit of publicity for both shows plus she gets to play the victim once again

So it is the Louis Walsh crap all over again after all, keeping the show (and the hype) in the rags before it airs? Thing is, it's making it look like a total car crash.
I really hope it bombs spectacularly, not that I was going to watch it anyway. Can't even be arsed with the UK version this year now the judges consist of 'don't know who that is' and 'who cares what they think' oh and 'Louis Walsh'.

What is the point of this? It's only keeping the story in the press over here. US media are hardly touching it. It's such a joke. NO ONE KNOWS WHO SHE IS OVER THERE.

So apparently Fox execs have been impressed with her audition footage. Wasn't it that footage that lead to her being axed?

They've made the right decision, clearly Simon or someone is trying to use their leverage to get her back on the show.

Got Cowell in the papers the week during his big Britain's Got Talent finals.
