Video Editing Software PC

Hi All

Looking for some video editing software, don't mind paying if its OK. Want to be able to do the following

Add music
Add some graphics
Mix a few videos together for a compilation, so take a bit of one, star swipe it to another
Do some slow motion bits
A few basic effects, to link videos, star swipes and so fourth
Simple to use

I know I can google, but to be honest, I always find it very hit and miss, freemium.

Probably want to put the videos on youtube

Lightworks seemed pretty good when I dabbled last year having done some investigating. The version I used is free.

Depending on how pro you need to go, Steam have a big discount on Vegas Pro. It's still Ł40 even with the discount.

I found Vegas pretty good. It's very intuitive and it's easy to knock up something simple very quickly, but there are lots of pwerful features when you start delving deeper.
