I found them, quite by accident, in Poland when I shopped at Empik (much like HMV type shop - http://www.empik.com/) last summer. They were released at the same time as the US discs. They are coded for region A,B and C. I didn't buy MWTGG because they weren't the cheapest - about £25-27 so I settled for Licence to Kill which looks gorgeous on Blu Ray. The cover artwork and text is in English too. I sweated paying so much at the time but now I'm glad I did.

No idea if they are still available. Can't find them online.

I hate the "collections" which don't reflect the chronology of the original films, or even the tenure of each Bond. It's a half-arsed studio trick and almost inevitably ends up with double-dipping, which of course they love.

They haven't really wised up to the fact that a lot of collectors have already double-dipped on DVD (nevermind the laserdisc/VHS purchases) and are being much more strategic in their blu-ray purchasing.

There's only so many times you can go in dry before people have had enough.

The irony of the poor sales figures is that the Bond Blu-rays are well worth the upgrade, and not only for the stunning picture quality. There have been various tweaks and corrections to the films since the PAL Ultimate Edition DVDs came out. A lot of the special features have been up-rezzed to HD too, which is a really nice touch.

The Bond blu rays are fantastic. Most of the MGM releases are great. I was extremely impressed with To Live & Die in LA and the Rocky boxset recently. Their financial problems are a real shame because they have such an enviable catalogue and it's going to waste.

MGM HD will be showing 3 Moore Films during the last w/end in May.

"Live and Let Die," "The Man With The Golden Gun" and "The Spy Who Loved Me."

I'm sure more will follow preferably (if it's only a selected few) they'll be the non-released Blu's.

I'm assuming spearce8 is meaning that MGM HD is showing them on TV, not releasing them on BD

Really? That's odd because I've just checked the listings for the MGM HD UK listings and there's no Bond films listed.

Is it for MGM UK or MGM USA? Where did you get the info?
