Could be worse - my tracking now states 'Delayed - Label Reprint'.

HMV haven't sent me any tracking details at all, just a dispatch email on the 19th.

I should add though that the boxset cost £74.40 so if it arrives a couple of days late then so be it. This Hermes company seems a bit crap though.

No movement on it at all but as long as it gets here this week in one piece, I'll be happy.

Which is fine as long as you are well off enough that you don't regard that amount of money to be significant and don't notice it has left your wallet! However we do, and would like to get what we've paid for at the same time that other people are getting their stuff!

That, coupled with the fact HMV told me I'd get it today (when I talked to them the other day) and I'm potentially just sat here waiting for nothing, means we're not that happy. Yeah, I realise it's only a box of 5" silver platters but it wouldn't be a normal week for me if I didn't have something to complain about.

Hermes website currently says "20/09/2012 18:31 Order Generated" for me. Which is nice.

Anyway Graham - give HMV a prod and whinge about the price dropping to £90, mention pre-order price promise and they'll refund you £2.40. Did it ourselves after a heads-up on this thread and they processed it pretty quickly. Woo-hoo, one up for the little (petty) guys!

Which website are you using for tracking info?

I've been looking at http://www.hermes-europe.co.uk/tracker.html but this was just the first Hermes site I stumbled across.

Use that or the link in your tracking email from HMV.

I find the discs come out a piece of **** if you're not bothered about marking them.

Getting them out carefully, by the edge as we've always been advised since the early days of CDs, is nigh on impossible.

Is there a word for that sinking feeling when you suddenly remember that you forgot to cancel your HMV pre-order after re-ordering it from Tescos for slightly cheaper?

No tracking info from HMV for me either. Now I wish I'd cancelled my pre-order but after the TNG shambles I didn't think they'd manage another stuff up.

Having the same trouble with my HMV order.. according to HMV it was shipped on 19th Sep, and the tracking site says nothing further since 20th Sep, just shipment created. A friend on mine received his set on Friday from HMV so this is very frustrating.

Not much I can do really. Tried ringing HMV for an update earlier and the moment I mentioned James Bond and tracking she cut the phone call.

Not too bothered about when my discs arrive, but I've been phoning HMV up every half hour asking when I can look forward to seeing my £2.40 refund hit my bank account.
