Nice one. Even the price is a pleasant surprise, I was expecting them to try and fleece us for at least £50 on its initial release.

Wasn't the HD-DVD set something crazy like £100 or something?

Well, it's not the tin version the US are getting. Let's just hope that all the extras from the US set make it over here.
Still it is a great price. Wonder if it's a misprice.

Might be the thing to tempt me into buying a Blu-Ray player!

As I never could afford the truly outrageous pricing of the Japanese versions (even had to cancel my MATRIX.jn pre-order!) this represents a 'must-buy' for us.

My wife did a few on-line surveys and was awarded a £10 e-voucher so that went straight onto "B.o.B." so it is now in our pre-order list at a very sweet £24ish.

I almost went for the Japanese version, but I figured that BoB would be out in the West sooner rather than later so I managed to hold off. Glad I did.

Looks good to me. Never gotten around to watching the DVD's yet, or the odd episode on TV!

All the pics on the sites that have it look like tins. Making HMV's price particularly good. I remember the clamour for the tin when DVD first came out.

Absolutely (as I had said in my original post). The reason I posted the Play info was to confirm the date (which HMV had removed for a couple of weeks), and that Play had explicitly listed it as the Tin, which I think many people are hoping for.

AS CLH point out, HMV seem to have updated their picture too, it used to be of a standard boxset.

I did the same thing with the DVD boxset many years ago and loved it (when I finally got around to watching it!). Highly recommended from me.
