methinks this was reported on another thread a week ago - my order hasn't budged in a week and they still proclaim despatch normally within 4 days

Yes, this may be too good to be true...a few people over at the Criterion forum have had their orders cancelled... So far mine is "processing"...

Their prices are currently similar on TheHut, Asda, Tesco and a few others so hopefully someone will be able to honour it.

The problem is that they aren't really different suppliers. I believe TheHut supplies them all.

Just to let you know that The Hut has cancelled both of the Fassbinder sets I had ordered as "it is no longer available at our suppliers". They also say that the products "will be removed from our website in due course." I assumed that the listings would be removed as of now not when they had time to get round to it.

Yeah my Fassbinder + Rohmer both got cancelled

Wish I'd jumped in a little sooner - I assume it's just a stock thing, rather than mis-price, as some people are getting them.

I ordered the neo-realist set before I saw any of the others and that was delivered. They're all off the site now.

My Fassbinder vol.2 shipped from The Hut, but I've just had vol 1 and Russ Meyer cancelled by Sendit

my Fassbinder vol 2 is on its way from Sendit; Tesco cancelled my Vol1 as it couldn't be obtained from suppliers, then told me it couldn't cancel as it was awaiting despatch! Madness.

I've seen the Blu-ray version and I can assure everyone the source print is excellent, incomparably better than the one used for the original Region 1 DVD.

Not having seen it, I can't vouch for this new DVD of How The West Was Won but at that price for a 3-disc package, it's probably a bargain.

Mmmm...I'm tempted. I didn't buy the DVD becouse of no SmileBox, but at this price, with the commentary & 90min Doc, I might weaken.

I have the R1 UCE and I'd say for anyone who hasn't gone Blu that's a great price for this film.

Before buying you might want to check as the advert on HMV says 3-disc but the picture on the front of the box says 2-disc?.

I'm sure the picture is wrong, I don't think there is a 2-disc DVD. I'm not going to buy it. Warner put a lot of time & money into this, & then soured the whole thing by not including the SmileBox version in the DVD set.
