Lol - looking at the digital spy blog - it looks like Katie Hopkins is still out to make friends and influence people! Nicholas De Lacy (Knickers) Brown is still deluding himself I see.

It's just got silly now, in earlier series it would seem the candidates were chosen for their business potential but as each season arrives they are chosen for by the BBC for their cringe-ability it's like 16 variations of David Brent.

Whilst I'm sure this makes for better mass market television, they aren't going to find a stunning entrepreneur at the end of it. I work with people with far better business skills than all of those 16 combined.

Yes and as with the previous two series, people who are any good are not going to bother with this programme just for a £100,000 job - they just go get it for themselves in the City of London or elsewhere.

The BBC still pretend I guess but we all know that the programme hasn't been about finding a true business superstar after Series 1 - it's all about a few morons that THINK they are business gurus or who just want a meedja career without going the Big Brother route (but fortunately they all fail to get that too).

Couldn't agree with you more. Some of the quotes from the contestants at the beginning of the show were just ridiculous. They don't seem to want geniunely talented business people, they just want a business version of Big Brother. Still entertaining though

Well they no longer refer to the contestants as the brightest and best at the start of the show.
It's a tv show to entertain us, never was it really about finding a true future captain of industry or whatnot. Half the fun comes from how deluded these people are (just like American Idol / X-Factor etc) it's just dressed up in (hopefully) better clothes (discounting beret woman)!

They are actually commercially impotent - girls not checking prices of things before they quote (Thousands of quid for a job that costs about £500 normally!), and the boys not haggling on price for their big hotel job?!? It's certainly not about finding the best people any more, it's about casting.

Alan Sugar would be an idiot to take on most of these people... The three toff boys need kicking out, as they just stand around and talk the talk of successful businessmen, while the other guys do the graft!

Jenny could not even keep the two women on either side of her quiet. SHe was giving it all this "I'm still speaking, will you be quiet" and they just ignored her. Useless.

He took the 'easy' option of who to fire, unfortunately.

You can't have any team leader saying that two of her team members are completely useless in any situation, which is what she (Jenny?) said in the boardroom - I can't say it was a surprise that he chose to keep her in though.

How Jenny is still in the game beggars belief, Sir Alan said it himself that she holds full responsibility for the teams failings.

I left the living room wanting to stab jenny in the eye with a fork.... was sooooo wrong tonight, the poor mean lookin girl LEFT because the project manager ushered four of them to the van after the idea of acquiring the irons from the house to work late!!!!!

The Project manager was at fault... would you have attended that meeting in the morning had your boss berated you and treated you like a child and shame on whats her face for not forcing carrot top to tell her of her treatment in the car on the way back to the house.

The Girls need a good kicking apart from whus her face who isn't Jenny who survived the boardroom tonight!

Not as bad as 'breast feeding' - not quite sure that was what she meant
