What a **** Nicholas de Montague Pomphrey de la Rue, or whatever the hell he was called, is (word rhymes with hunt, and Sugar should have called both the toffs that). One can't see properly, one can't count, wasn't a hard decision for big Al - thought he was going to give Raph the boot too at the end. Alex was never getting fired taking the pair of them back in with him.

The snobbery on display was spectacular, I thought Alex was going to lamp the slimy little bugger at one point.

glad alex stayed as he was fit

but as always the way, don't offer to do anything in the first few tasks - no chance of being called to the board room if taken no responsibility./

Lee, Michael and Alex. They'd all get it.

Good start to the show, glad the toffee-nosed lawyer went. Can't imagine, after his defence in the boadroom, anyone would want to hire him now.

Yep - keep your head down for the first few weeks, but not too long

Quite liked the women's team leader

Daft bugger only went because he made a total tit of himself in the boardroom. All he had to do was point out he can't take sole blame for the pricing cockups when (a) three boxes were incorrectly labelled, and (b) some other daft bugger misunderstood the pricing on another stall and started selling the lobsters for a fiver each on that basis.

There was one thing I never understood from the moment they arrived at their pitches - we're told it was an hour's journey to get there. What were they doing during that time? Surely it would've been a good idea to spend at least some of that time studying the wholesale guide and working out their prices in advance of actually unpacking the fish?

In general, I think this is going to be the worst series yet. Like Big Brother, the contestants have been going ever downhill as they pick them on 'television' grounds rather than on their business acumen. The blokes alone look like they've walked out of a casting agency, most of them.

That Barrister chap - what an idiot - claiming he doesn't get on with unqualified people/people who are into football - and who would he be working for if he'd became the apprentice... yep, an unqualified bloke who used to be the chairman of a famous football team.

That's my concern. The last series was like that and its just going to get worse.

Such factors also help to decide who doesn't get fired too

Was hoping he'd screw up.

Sugar: You're fired
Lucas: Yeh, I know

Good start to the series. Thought all the women were ugly and all the blokes wannabe models with quite bizarre haircuts.

Raef. Knob is an understatement. I think they are all knobs this year. As someone said earlier - probably been picked out of a casting agency

So far, no standouts like Saeed, Saira or Tre Azam

He sold Amstrad to Sky last year. He didnt make the majority of his money from that anyway. Amsprop his investment property company has quite a portfolio here that's where the money is.

Agreed Amstrad products were mostly tat.

Some of those paintings are excellent, very surreal and Dali-esque. Some are also self-absorbed pieces of crap(number 9). Actually wtf was he doing on that show.
