Well from the look of the arm and the sneak peek of the person in the mirror, it looks like a bloke to me. Surely they know her already because they met in the future?

I really liked the twist of them matching the fingerprints with a four year old. They seem to be setting up the possibility of the FBI coming onside (or at least some of them).

Still enjoying this - for the most part it's quite skillfully written. Good stuff.

Enjoyed this a lot.
The school stuff was a bit week but loved the Sarah stuff.
Oh and duh I finally realised the FBI dude is Ellison (maybe be a nod to Harlan Ellison)
Oh and Summer Glau in her pants!

This show has been a pleasant surprise, it could well have been 'Torchwood Awful' but it has been good so far and seems to be setting things up for future episodes nicely

Yep, more goodness. And for every conveniently dumb idea they come up with (re-skinning the Terminator was cool but WTF?) they get a decent one, like the fingerprints thing. This could be the start of something very good, as long as they don't let the story disappear up its own arse. *cough* X-Files *cough*

And I was also wondering why firefly bot acts like such a doofus in school when she was perfectly ditzy in the pilot.

I'm enjoying this too, but is skynet sending back less advanced Terminators than the T-1000, or is the budget restricting them from using liquid metal style Termies?

That future was altered when they blew up cyberdyne in T2. The T1000 was not developed in that time line but the T-X developed in T3 time line would have been...or something. plus Sony sued as it didn't have region coding built in or addable via firmware upgrades.

Well thats one theory anyway.

re t1000: it could be t1000 was the only prototype. (i'm sure it was mentioned in T2. Also the T-X is never going to appear (hopefully)

I know, I read it before posting. As a card-carrying Star Wars prequel apologist I'm used to filling in ridiculous plot holes, but I just can't work that one out. Not that it'll spoil my enjoyment of this show in the least, as we've already learnt that it takes so many liberties with 'canon' that it's best to take it on its own terms, plot holes and all.

Sarah's dream with the scientists/Terminators was AWESOME.

Still enjoying this, nice to see John starting to get some balls now and the cutting of the eyelids to reveal the Terminator's glowing eyes. That fair made me grin. How many eps have been shot, is is this going to be caught up with the writer's strike?

You're not thinking fourth dimensionally. These terminators could have been sent back years before the T-1000 on deep cover missions to disrupt the human operatives sent back by John Connor.

That's the thing about the time travel premise: it could get really ******* screwy, so I hope the makers have some sort of Hiro-style timeline fleshed out for where they want to take the show.

With the new movie(s) going ahead, the show surely has to end (cancellation aside ) with Judgement Day so it'll be interesting to see how they maintain our interest until then.

I liked ep3 too. I was actually relieved when the girl jumped off of the building. I was expecting her to be saved and for the show turn into a weekly John-and-Hot-Glau-Bot crime and mystery solving team, helping out teens through their angst-ridden growing pains.

Plot and interesting scenes aside, I'm still a little unsure why John and Glau-bot even need to be going to school, he could do home-tuition - maybe it's for the life lesson.

I'm also surprised at John's tech knowledge while quizzing his Mum on Andy's chess machine, he was very upto speed with bandwidth etc.... Considering he's actually a kid from the 90's and has been out of the tech-loop for 10yrs he's doing a good job!!!

Andy will now be even more driven to create a super chess ai now that his one has been burnt. Bad move Sarah.

I think the 'skin' doctor didn't run when he saw the Exo-skeleton as he realised his days were up

Did anyone spot the HUGE clue to explain why Judgement Day has been delayed?

.... Skynet Computer Boffin said his Super-Chess-AI machine included several daisy-chained PS3's.

He actually said Xboxes and Playstations and it wasn't his chess machine, it was something he built for the army (IIRC)

"PREPARE TO DIE PUNY HUMANS!"

"General Connor all the Terminators have suddenly stopped moving and Skynet is broadcasting on all frequencies asking someone to ring India asap?"
