The Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2006 (now 2007 thread)

Really enjoying this.

Finding David Walliams incredibly annoying. However, it has allowed Rob Brydon to be truly hilarious

The only show this Christmas that has actually had me genuinely laughing all the way through. I didn't think much of Russell Brand before this, but him and Noel Fielding made a brilliant double act!

That was a superb show and genuinely hilarious!
The "peep scarf" was my fav!

Anyone know what the Walliams/Boy George thing was all about?

It was indeed a fantastic couple of hours - although I think this show has been funny every year I especially enjoyed Russell Brand and Noel Fielding this year, and can only hope they'll be back again. The Walliams / Brydon partnership always keeps me laughing, although they do seem to do the 'grumpy' act every year, which I could do without.

Roll on BFQotY 2007! (Maybe I shouldn't say that quite yet).

Agreed that this made for a perfect festive night of TV. Helped cheer me up after a truly awful dose of the flu.

My favourite line of the show had to be Russell's...

"Can me and Noel play ourselves in the corridor scene?"

The show was very funny.
I really want Russell and Noel to make the detective series. Am I mad in thinking that would actually be good? All it needs is for everyone else to be dead serious, in a Prime Suspect/Cracker type setup, and for them to actually solve stuff at the end.... plus comedy, which would come naturally.

The Fielding/Brand partnership really saved this, surreal comedy at its best

Rob Brydon going on about David Walliams arms waving in front of his face cracked me up.

I must be the only one that thought Russell Brand was really annoying.

I find him totally unfunny.

I normally find Russell Brand annoying and tiresome, but he was actually dead funny in this.
