Quick bump.

Anyone who hasn't seen this show, the Beeb are re-running series 1 again, starting with a double bill at 12.35 tonight (or tomorrow morning if you like) on BBC2.

Prime time again, eh beeb?

Ah, the famous slot as previously used for Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld and Arrested Development. Great shows, **** slot.

Trouble have also started repeating it this week but at the better time of 6pm or (bizarrely) 9pm the same day.

This show is much more deserving, it's just so cleverly written.

They probably haven't got the rights to show it on the interwebs, as it's a US programme.

Trouble are currently repeating it, they're near the end of Season 1 now so they might put Season 3 on after Season 2 has finished.

Well Trouble (and now Living) have been repeating seasons 1 & 2 for some time (check some earlier posts for when I first pointed them out) so it could be a long time yet.

Meanwhile I await my S2 boxset from Axel thats on the way

Watched my S2 boxset in 2 days

The last ep of series 2 had a real proposal in it, as the ring in the champagne was given for real to the couple behind Robin, check the extras on the set for full details.

Aye, I heard about that. Cute.

Just finished watching Series 2 again. Forgot just how good the show is. The last episode is brilliant.

The scene where Robin and Ted break up nearly had me going, didn't remember it being that sad. It was the 'I would have stolen you a whole orchestra' line

I think the way the story is told is brilliant. I hope it continues for a long time after he meets the mother, although I'm sure the kids are already getting a bit annoyed at all the stories!

The same DVD extra that had the real proposal in it also showed when they came up with/added that line.

I haven't watched it on the DVD yet, but from what I gather - in that scene Robin gets confused when she is offered a drink with a ring in it, and believes it's Ted proposing to her. In turns out though that the waitress brought it over by accident and it was really for a couple at a table nearby.

By the sounds of it the "couple nearby" were a real couple and the guy was actually proposing to the girl. I don't know how that scene came about though, did they write it there and then when they realised that guy was proposing to his missus? Having said that I would have thought it would have been a closed set rather than a real restaurant...

I should probably watch it before tryign to explain

IIRC he requested they be extras on the show as they are fans, then let let the guys know he was going to propose once there. She thought it was just a usual run through at the time.
