This week's episode was pretty good.

I thought this was one of the worst episodes I've seen.

I could totally relate to Ted and his new car, I bought a year old Merc last year and it still had that new car smell, still won't let anyone eat in it.

Also loved Barny's Chain/Circle/Pyramid of screaming theory.

Not seen it yet but that sounds awfully like Geoff's "Giggle loop" from Coupling.

No it wasn't really that similar.

Was an ok episode I thought, think I preferred it to the Barney one last week. Funniest part was the boss to Ted:

Though not as funny when it was used on Marshall again later

At least that's the way I hope they're going with this.

Yeah I loved the end, and I hope they don't throw that away. It just seems the right time to progress the two characters. Good on them for going for it (the writers, that is!)

Interesting past few episodes - normally the plot focuses on Ted's current relationship, but over the past few he's still been seeing Stella but she hasn't featured.

I guess they only got Sarah Chalke in for one episode originally and now they need to decide what to do with her character. I imagine she might be free for next season with Scrubs ending

It's ending on NBC, but very likely that the show will move to ABC for at least another series, so she'll still be busy. (Scrubs that is)

She's signed up to be in at least one more episode this season.

They're also trying to get Britney back.

The fact that they used Robin Sparkles again - which I believe was a bit of a hit the first time - gave me the feeling they're chasing ratings at the moment.

This ratin' chasin' could simply be delayed panicking from the near cancellation, after all it must take a while from the idea of the plot to the production, esp if this is going to be a plot arc.

It's been confirmed that Britney Spears and Sarah Chalke are going to be back for one more episode this season.

Probably get more viewers because of Britney again so hopefully that means a fourth series will be confirmed.

I really hope they don't let the
situation fizzle out.

Bit of a drama-ry episode that one - Good but not too funny.

Like what they tried...

For anyone that hasn't seen this the first season is only Ł9.99 at HMV. With the McD vouchers can be had even cheaper.
