Me and the missus watched it last night and really enjoyed it!!

I thought it had a really nice quality to it! No swearing which makes a change these days too!

I wasn't expecting great things from it but it was really enjoyable.

It reminded us a lot of "Devil wears Prada"

Made me wonder which came 1st??

Looking forward to more of the same!

The original http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0233127/ back in 1999 did.
I wonder if they cast an Hispanic actress in the main role by coincidence

Watched this last night and don't think i laughed once. How is it that the quality of comedies has dropped significantly over the past few years?

Also repeated on E4 at 8pm on the same day (7th) if you miss that one.

Next Friday's Ch4 episode will be shown first on E4 on Wednesday 10th at 9pm.

I don't think it's classed as a comedy more a humerous drama.

You'd better let Channel 4 know then

Having seen all the episodes I still wouldn't class it as a comedy.I'd put it alongside something like "Desperate Housewives".

A "very" average episode to start a pilot.

Can't really see what all the fuss is about and it certainly didn't make me laugh once, even if it was meant to be a more a humerous drama than a comedy.

Don't think I'll be watching anymore, especially if next weeks preview is anything to go by.

Rather dull.

if you didnt find it funny, i guess there is no point in watching it no - but in relation to your point, i find the first episode are very often not as funny as the rest as they have to spend time setting up the scenario which can detract from the comedy.

I thought this was OK and had promise last week, but it has turned into a stupid farce this week.

If it doesn't pick up soon, I won't be watching it next week.

I agree, but that was only a small part of the show and the whole book thing was really annoying.

The characters get fleshed out as the series goes on making them more human.

You're all missing the point though!!

Is LCD really "better" than plasma??

I would argue not!!

Couldn't they just print another version of the book?

That's what I hoped after watching the pilot episode. I suppose I was just a bit dissapointed with tonight's episode

Who am I kidding? As long as Celebrity Big Brother is on, the TV is locked onto CH4 on a Friday night!
