what you reckon the chances are that the inputs are on the sub and not the dvd player?

just wondering (albeit its something of a pipe dream!) if i could get one of these and rig it up to my xbox in the games room?

i'd guess at the inputs being 6 seperate phono connections on the back of the sub combined with a dvd player with dolby digital decoder...

Not that i'd know though...

Have you two got REALLY good eyesite or is this just wishful thinking? Everytime that I see Yamada mentioned then I always read it as Yamaha.

same thing i want to know for the xbox

i suspect it will be all the speakers wired to the dvd player itself (which is also the decoder)

the only inputs it may have in addition will be phono I wouldve thought but we can dream....

Apologies for the semi-threadjack, but does anyone know when they will be doing their next PC offer?

Don't Aldi also sell Medion which is often rebadged as Tevion.

This doesn't look the same as the one in the Aldi add, although if you look closely there are similarities in the disc draw and button locations, so they may be similar in terms of connectivity.

It is unfortunate that the Aldi emailing or online advert doesn't tell you this. I wonder if PPJ can tell us if anything else is showing on the magazine he picked up from his local shop.

Sorry, no extra information in the flyer at-all. Just the same text as in your original post.
