If you've watched before you know that the paintings in the cave, the prophesy and everything are all tied into the fact that Jor-El and maybe other Kryptonians were there in the past.

Looking more closely at the cave paintings, the snake type image along with the other being is in fact Archer from Enterprise fighting the Reptilians.

another infuriating episode

when jeramiah got clarks powers i simply couldn't believe it. with 2 episode to go they were rolling out that old chestnut. jesus, how short of material are they???

then in the first encounter between clark and jeramiah, clark acts like a bloody wet lettuce and forgets that he also has super powers and just stands there like a tool. yet miraculously beats him the second time they meet

so another wasted episode filled with depressingly predictable rubbish.

oh, and pete's parents breaking up. seriously, WHO CARES? it's getting to the point where you say "who's pete?", anyway.

i am so looking forward to this season being over so i can finally consign small-pantsville to history and never bother with it again

Well if she does she might as well take the series with her because she's about the only reason to watch smallville now :norty: what am I saying, she's always been the ONLY reason to watch smallville!

Every season I convinced myself it just needed time to get into its stride but seriously, what are there now, about 3 different episodes on a loop

Lana the only reason to watch smallville? If some goody-goody waste of of space in the show is the only thing of interest then I personally wouldn't bother as

I think he was saying that the hero of the story is the enemy of the warrior who comes down from the sky etc etc...

i.e.

Superman comes down from the sky, his enemy is the hero!

Therefore Lex Luthor is infact Superman

If this person who came from the sky had powers, then the person who tried to take him on and defeat him must be very brave and therefore the hero (i.e. Lex not Clark).

Also known as the reason in the future that Lex will be Superman's enemy is because he thinks he is doing the right thing and in fact thinks Superman is the evil one.

Not a bad episode, i do like these mythology episodes (also the blanket/cape bit was a nice touch).

I just hope its all leading somewhere and it all ties in together in a convincing way because they've got the entire series planned out, unlike the x-files where they were just making stuff up as they went along and somehow tried to join the dots together.

That's exactly what i said to the person who i was watching it with, could have been watching Episode 3 for a moment there

Ok anyone else think something will happen with Lex and Lana.At the moment she is still in school so its a bit of a no no but this season Lex seems more friendly to her.

Plus in a previous ep he pretty much told her she couldent trust Clark...

I think something will happen maybe next season
