Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children

Just came across the trailer for this on the net (P2P), I remember playing this game back in 1998, and the trailer looks great (Japanese with English sub). Looks a lot like the game, which should be a good thing, and out this summer, can't wait

ive seen these VCD/DVDs floating around of FFX and FFX-2 movies, from the back it looks like movies ripped from the game. But the front cover says FFX/X-2 the story. Anyone know what these are and if they are bootleg ? Does it tell complete story or is it just collected movies ripped from the games ?

erm....

This is a FF7 MOVIE, not stuck with any game, and it is not out yet.

What you see are probably just the cut scenes from the games.

So yes, most likely bootleg.

Would not make any difference anyway as FF7 and FFX are unrelated.

No, I've played the game, there are the same scenes that was in the game, but it looked NOTHING Like that.

Its not only coming to be DVD but it'll be one of the first movies to appear on Sony's UMD format. It was running on the PSP at E3.

There is a new trailer out, from TGS 2004. This trailer goes for 4 minutes and includes some scenes that were shown in the Advent Children Special Edition. It includes footage of many of the characters that were in Final Fantasy VII. To access this trailer on the official site, you need to click on the image of Kadaj's face. It is called "Trailer 003" on the official site.

Looks amazing

I know thats an old post but I read that it will be coming to UMD AND DVD. Why would they release it just on UMD? Lots of people wont buy a PSP just to see this. And its obviously the smarter thing to do if they release it on DVD, because a crapload of people will buy it. Myself included.

I'm pretty sure most of japan disagree. And when it comes to america, people with PSP's will surely get it too.

The post you quoted said "Its not only coming to be DVD but it'll be one of the first movies to appear on Sony's UMD format."
