Does anyone know when S2 episodes are on Trouble? I keep on watching old ones an only occasionally see S2...
Digiguide only lists S1 eps as being shown in the near future.

I see there is no thread for "The Class" which is more justifiably called Friends part II as its made by the same team. Not a bad series but you'll have to watch it from the start to understand the plot for some of the characters.

Yeah I very much enjoyed The Class, I actually only started watching HIMYM when I was looking for a similar show to fill my comedy void! Although I have to say I think out of the 2, HIMYM is by far the better show.

I love HIMYTM, funny and sweet too. Season 3 hasn't been as great as the earlier stuff I think, but it's still all good. Barney is an excellent sitcom character.

FWIW I don't think it really matters whether he ever meets the mother or not (although in the past few episodes they have been leading up to it), it's good story-arc driven comedy but I don't think it necessarily needs to fulfil the title role

I think one refreshing thing about it, is that unlike just about every other American show I've seen, the characters can get drunk without being alcoholics!

Glad this is back on now after the strike, I've missed it! I wonder how long ago the new episode with Britney Spears was filmed? She looks pretty cute and nothing like her recent portrayal in the media

Couldn't hold a candle to Sarah Chalke though

Pop star Britney Spears' appearance on US TV comedy How I Met My Mother has pulled in almost 3m extra viewers.

The CBS show attracted 10.6m people on Monday - its highest ratings this season, according to official figures.

The boost is likely to secure a fourth series, which has averaged 7.8m viewers during its current run.

Loving this at the moment. I'm halfway through Series 2 and it is just brilliant!

It was on BBC 2/3 (they only showed season 1) but now Trouble have it and they've shown seasons 1 and 2.

I would assume so but with a low budget channel like that I would expect them to wait for the US to complete its run first.

Just watched this episode this evening and it was very funny, Barny at his best and both Britney and Sarah Chalk looked lovely in it.

I am guessing this was only filmed a few weeks ago as they ran out of scripts back in December and would only have been written/filmed after they got back to work.

Good news - HIMYM was on the bubble (on the verge of being cancelled) until the Britney episode the other day. The big ratings boost has very likely now ensured it'll get renewed.

How a show this consistently good should ever be in danger of cancellation is crazy - but it's been touch and go every year so far.

I didn't know it was in that much trouble! It's an excellent show, I hope it makes at least one more season!

Apparently its lead in show Big Bang Theory was pulling in far more viewers and then switching over when HIMYM started. That just the way the TV world works if a show can not hold its audience it gets pulled, the question we should be asking is if the show is this good why are people not watching. The same seem to have happened over here aswell, just goes to show if a show is not picked up by the Beeb, C4 or Sky One it doesn't get big exposure in this country.

The scheduling on the BBC didn't help either, with some episodes being shown at about 6pm, some at 11, then suddenly stopping for a few weeks, then getting 3 episodes in one night, 2 at 6 then one at 11, then stopping again, then moving to 2am.

Just bought Series 2 from Amazon.com, saved all the hassle.

See Deadwood, Rome, Angel, Freaks & Geeks, Sleeper Cell, Veronica Mars etc etc etc for details.
