Stargate Atlantis 3x10 - "The Return, pt 1" **SPOILERS**

Ok, could someone clear something up for me. Were those real Atlantians they rescued or human-form replicators? As I am sure I have seen that woman before, the one who was the Atlantian commander, and I find it hard to believe that a small number of Atlantians would show their thanks by telling Weir and co to clear off at the first available opportunity.

Other than that, I thought it was pretty formulaic. Team realise they can solve problem, boss says no, nuke them, and team sneak around behind his back, risking all to save the day. No doubt once it is all done, Landry will give them a stern talking to and a pat on the back.

The only interesting thing I found was how little all the main characters have to fill their lives outside of Atlantis. With that gone, they had nothing. Rodney was lonely, I mean he must have been desperate to keep calling Shepperd. Shepperd did not seem too impressed with being just another SG team leader. And Weir just seemed to have gone to pieces.

Carson was funny though - line of the episode - "Oh no, me turtles"

So now just wait until next year for the conclusion. Though I have to say that as cliffhangers go, I did not feel that it was much of one.

Most annoying place they could have cut But pretty obvious they will go in and do the business, find Woolsey and O'Neill and save the day.

They were real Lanteans, hence the over confidence when it came to the replicators.

Loved the lines at the end, McKay describing how the anti-replicator gun works, Ronan says that's not what he asked, McKay, "Yes, it works good.."

Not so my friend, Canada should get round to airing the next episode (3x11) sometime in November so only about month or so to wait

Also that Lantean commander might look familiar as she played Ke'ra in SG-1 Season 3 episode 'Past and Present'

Loved the Gate bridge and the shot at the midway point looking through a Pegasus gate through a Milky Way gate to the Milky Way galaxy beyond was gorgeous.
Only just got to that bit and went into geek overload lol

Ok finished now
Another excellent episode. Was shocked to see them have to leave Atlantis and liked the way that Weir was struggling to cope.

Can't wait for Part 2!

A decent episode, I felt it was better than the SG1 mid season episode. I was also wondering if the Lanteans they picked up were the Asurans, but glad to see they weren't. Formulaic in places, but good fun.

The World of Warcraft discussion was really funny! The episode was pretty decent, if quite predictable for the most part. Nice surprise to see O'Neill pop up right at the start.

How could I forget the WoW discussion. Got a mate who is obsessive over it and goes on about his character like Dr Lee.

Also played Lenora I think it is, anyway an episode of season 3 or 4 where SG1 go to a planet and find everyone on the world has lost their memory.
