Doesn't he still live in a hotel? I don't think he was ever planning to be there long term but it seems to be unravelling quicker than i expected. i would be worried tonight by the fact Valencia were absolutely woeful and you still couldn't beat them.you were the only team who looked like possibly scoring though.

His family had no intention of relocating from London, switching schools etc, so he opted for a hotel, rather than renting. Maybe Bartez's old gaff wasn't available?

I suppose a clean sheet is a bonus after recent weeks.

He's being seriously let down by some of the players. I don't care if he is a **** in training, in public or behind the scenes, you play for the club and the fans in spite of that. Fergie was right about Pogba.

Some players seem to like it, or at least not be bothered by it, Matic for example, and nobody can say it hasn't worked for Shaw.

Would his ego like it though?

Would we be the first team he never won the title with in the countryhe was in?

When it was announced he was coming to OT, I had a silly nagging thought that it might me an abramovich ploy......

Roman has bigger things to worry about, like not being welcome in certain countries and watching out for Novichok attacks.

I think calling where he lives "a hotel" is doing it a bit of disservice, it's like a large suite. He isn't living out of a suitcase in a travelodge.

I was chatting to a Utd fan last night and suggested Deschamps. He's won the World Cup now so could be open to a new challenge, and he'd probably get the best out of Pogba.

Not that I think he's that great a manager tbh but would no doubt be interested in the Utd job if it came up.

Has he been any good in club management?

I'm not sure I want anyone who'll keep Pogba at the moment, I'm pretty much done with him

It's not always about doing good at somewhere else, it sounds daft but sometimes a manager just suits. I don't think JM was ever a decent fit for you.

Deschamps showed he could get the very best out of some decent talent, he isn't the worst choice and he at least gives a few options.

Not sure what Pogba has done well, except keeps taking the money, did you think he was here because he loves the Manchester climate? I reckon he will be gone in January regardless, probably a good move all round. You might get most of your money back based on his performances at the world cup, his value is only going down .

Every time Jose opens his mouth probably knocks £5m off the price you'll get

Apparently United won't take less than they paid for him, and are actually looking to make a profit.

Saturday's game is live here on two channels, one being a Spanish language one, the commentators are the guys who go GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!

But I'm so nervous I'm thinking about just listening to the radio instead and playing computer games at the same time.

I'm guessing you're not in Ashington then?

The Mirror - I know, I know - says he's gone this weekend regardless of what happens.

Football is a joke. He's lost the plot a little, but the club haven't helped here either. This is Liverpool Spice Boys bad: the players are as culpable as the manager.

Yep he's a goner .timing it for the international break. I think it will be Zidane but I think Blanc might be a better fit,or Ancelotti but he's only just joined Napoli.

Certain players are more to blame, I'm with Keano on that one.

And I agree with Neville

The board are the biggest culprits in the saga of the last 5 years. Living the high life, self congratulating as the club burns.

Gary Neville is 100% correct. Who at Man Utd is qualified to tell Jose that he doesn't need a centre back? No-one. He's made some questionable decisions, no doubt, but they didn't support him in the summer and he's been proved right by our performance: our defence looks ragged.

How do you fix it? Clear that the club after going to choose t-shirt sales of Pogba over sticking with the manager.

Sums us up under this ownership, the football team exists to give the Megastore something to sell. I liked football when it was the other way around.

Unfortunately it comes down to the balance sheet.

Far cheaper to ship out José than numerous players. It's a dangerous precedent.

TBF to the board ... why should they have to give him another £100M+ to buy more CBs on top of the ones he has bought already ? Pretty sure your ragged defence is mainly Mourinho players.

You think Klopp would have been allowed to pay £70M for VvD if he had spent a similar amount on the same position less than two years earlier ?
