I am thinking of getting the trilogy on blu-ray but might wait of this release improves on it.
It's just the first film sold seperately!

I've seen the single disc release is labelled as the 10th anniversary version. Its a little 37 page hardback book with the first disc as already mentioned.

I don't think they're going to release the trilogy again anytime soon.

That's just the first film Otto in a smart digi-book release.

edit: Didn't see Jabbitt's or Gareth's posts because I replied from the last page.

Thank God they're releasing The Matrix as a standalone film. AFAIC the sequals are an insult.

Pretty good according to this. Although that is looking at the US release, but I would imagine they're the same transfer.

Is the mentioned glitch a compatability problem between the disc and the PS3? Or will it happen on every player?

It's just the way an earlier post mentioned "the PS3 skips the frames".

Thanks.

I think the glitch is present on all players, but have to say I didnt notice it last time I watched. I'm rewatching at the moment, so will have a look out for it.

EDIT - nope, no glitch that I saw on a BD350. Didnt notice any skipped frames either.

Like a lot of people the sequels killed the series for me, but after seeing some of the first film on TV recently the first film is still excellent and I might as well get the trilogy seeing as it's about Ł9!

I just want to make sure the glitch is gone..

The commentaries on the sequels more than make them worth buying...

One last try..

Is the glitch gone?

There was a replacement programme in the US so I presume it's safe to say the US set bought today would be glitch free? The lack of a replacement programme in the UK makes me wonder if the problem was reported over here, so the UK sets could still be faulty...

I think you're asking people who bought it years ago and have forgotten about it. I'd imagine it's gone now, if they did a replacement programme in the US five years ago, I'd have thought those discs would have eventually replaced the worldwide releases. I didn't even notice it on my set, bought in 2008, so I reckon youre safe.

Of course, the day you order will be the day they'll send you a set from 2008
