They'll never keep their jobs in TV with camera work like that.

A heads up, I'd only just noticed it... Top Gear's ******* step-child, "Fifth Gear", is back on tonight at 19:30.

Only a half hour show this time. Cash strapped Five must have thought it a good idea to cut the budget on one of it's only good shows. Clever Put that cash into "Live from Studio 5" instead

Abougt time TG was back, it normally has the first series of the year in March, they must be cutting back on the number of eps a year and putting it here so the gap to a short winter series isn't as big.

Perhaps. It could be that they have given themselves more time to work on this series given the criticism of the last few, and their own admission that they were rushed some of the time.

That's it I'm out on this one, will be FFWD'ing each week for decent car features like new RS5 etc.. but all challenges and that utterly utterly pointless dross Iceland Volcanoe feature will be ignored, this is officially now the Clarkson and his bum lickers show.

Pull this BBC FFS!

Loved the volcano bit and the Reliant bit. Had it paused on Sky plus so i could fast forward through the dull stuff about cars no one can afford to buy.

Reasonable opener. Especially enjoyed the Reliant feature as my dad, mum & grandpa all owned various reliants in the distant past.

Openers generally low key I recall. Not bad, semi serious in places. They had to do that with the "celebs" to get lap times but a little silly.

Twas fine. I liked the Volcanco bit and the Reliant bit made me laugh a few times. I was hoping for some bigger stars to turn up and go in the car though.

Thought it was OK myself, the mini falling over was funny the first few times and The Stig lap getting interrupted by the advert was quite funny.
