I have the Special Edition released a couple of years ago. The latest Collector's Edition seems to have the same extras. Does anybody know if the transfer is the same, or improved? It really annoys me when, just when you think you've got the definitive version of a film, another "Special" edition comes along that appears to be just the last one recycled.

There was a recent thread about 'Zulu' which discussed the merits of the transfer,i am not a fan of the R2;i was also hoping for some news on the latest two disc release.
