Nice review from Herb Kane up at the HTF here, complete with some tasty screen caps; looking forward to this immensely.

Indeed. I can almost hear the clack-clack-clack of Walker's shoes, it's so tantalisingly close now...

I'd give the film full marks myself. Wonderful, revolutionary filmmaking.

This movie bored me senseless when I watched it as a kid, but as I've gotten older I've come to appreciate it for the classic that it is. It's great just to get the movie with a decent anamorphic transfer, let alone with a few extras. Can't wait to get my mitts on this one.

TCM and BFI are advertising the annual crime wave films for this summer at the NFT and guess what kicks the season off on Thursday the 30th June at 18:15? You guessed it, Point Blank and it includes an introduction by the director John Boorman. Sounds good!

Just to be quickly off topic, are Night Moves and Scare Crow not being released in R2 land tomorrow ?
I was looking forward to walking into HMV and just picking up Night Moves and buying it (despite the price difference between it and R1) but it says on sendit.com that it is deleted and other stores dont have it or see the same thing.
Not a big annoyance as of course the R1's are out in a few weeks but was just curious.
As for Point Blank I would have to say it's a film I have never really been that keen on, but it has been years since i've seen it so I'm hoping I'll appreciate it a lot more now. It shall be purchased anyway

Looks like the R2 Night Moves and Scarecrow have been bumped to an unpsecified date; I've altered the 'Upcoming' list - ta!

Looks like it, ah well I shall just have to order the R1's of Night Moves, Scare Crow and Point Blank now and actually save some money!
Around Ł20 for all 3 of them cant be bad
