Just watched Joe Don Baker in Charley Varrick. A superb thriller one of Siegel's best I think. Baker is chilling, he does the redneck psycho thing to a tee.
The Outfit's okay, but I never liked Duvall much as Parker/Macklin/whatever.
Really? Been a while since I saw the film, but I remember thinking he was great, doing the whole "cool, detached tough guy" thang. Wish it'd get a release so I can check it out again. Ditto The Last Run.
