If recall correctly Castle of Cagliostro has some minor swearing in it, I wonder if it will be censored?

According to digiguide, the english dub (could be wrong though). Seem to recall watching it a while back on channel 4 or film four in english.

FILM: My Neighbour Totoro
On: Film4 (323)
Date: Friday 21st December 2007 (starting in 1 day)
Time: 16:45 to 18:25 (1 hour and 40 minutes long)

From Japan's Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki's charming animation tells the story of sisters Satsuke and Mai, who find their new home is in a mystical forest where mythical creatures live. Befriending O Totoro, king of the forest, they share his magical adventures and also his wisdom when their mother falls dangerously ill. In English with the voices of Dakota and Elle Fanning.
(Widescreen, Subtitles, 1988, U, 4 Star)

Similar lineup to last years run. For me Totoro is by far the best, monoke isn't bad but it's not as good as the others. The rest are so-so at best. I haven't seen Valley of the wind though and I've only seen bits of Whispers of the heart. I also haven't seen grave of the fireflies

Seen and loved many of the other ones mentioned here, but can't bring myself to watch Grave of the Fireflys.

You're missing out on arguably the greatest animated film ever made.

Ponyo? What did you think of it? Isao Takahata made Fireflies btw.

TBH I don't know. I need to watch it a few times to make a proper decision on it. I liked the premise of the tale and thought the animation was as good as any of the previuos films.

And of course Howl's Moving Castle, Sunday December 28th at 10:05 am on BBC2.

RT claims it's subtitled, but lists an English-language cast...

Just a heads up, Totoro, probably my second favourite, is on Film4 at 13:00 today (and F4+1 later) not 01:00

I've never seen Totoro dubbed before. It's actually quite well done...

I'd imagine it's difficult to get a 7 year old to watch a subtitled film, whereas they'd love Totoro in English, so it gets a thumbs up from me...

Perhaps, but I'm not trying to get a 7 year-old to watch a subtitled film. It was for my own enjoyment.
