I'm surprised nobody pointed out that if kids wanted "cool" secret message cards to show to each other in the playground they could make some themselves for a fraction of the cost of "Sema4" (although we didn't see the name I'm convinced she would've called it that...)

Although the first toy Alan brought out seemed pretty similar to the boys' idea, I don't see how Barcode Battlers was supposed to be similar -- that isn't much like "Switchbase" (was it still called that at the end?) at all AFAIK.

Having read and heard what Alan Sugar is like I wonder what the face of the winner will look like when the six figure salary revealed is Ł10,00.01

Caught this for the first time on the wee early hours of Sunday morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Glad that woman got sacked to be honest. She looked like a cold so and so, forcing team members to go with her plan and not listening to others.

"I want to thank you all for being supportive and working as a team"

then 5 minutes later...

I also saw this for the first time last night, really enjoyed it. I thought the girls team were pretty weak last night. Anyone who thinks that getting children to play with electric sockets
When the team leader kept going on about her "crap" idea, you just knew she would pick it and end up getting "fired"

Top programme. None of the three ideas were "innovative" which was supposed to be the whole point so on that basis alone they all failed. A toy robot as an idea is getting on for 100 years old now but to ignore the kids, the modelmakers, her own colleagues and the pure visual appeal of the prototype shows a monumental arrogance and an ego the size of a small planet.

missed the first two episodes when originally aired, but caugh the repeat on the weekend - I haven't laughed so much in all my life - That Secret Signals idea was just so bad, it HAD to be a joke! EVERYONE was saying it was a duff idea, but still she went ahead with it!

Looking forward to the next episode

Totally agree with you. That's like saying that Amstrad's not innovative as their products are similar io phones and computers

My bloody PVR stopped recording right as Alan was making his decision; I presume it was the stupid bint with the flags idea that got booted? She was so unbelieably stupid, the idea was obviously crap beyond belief, it was just flawed on so many levels and everyone knew it, I can't believe she decided to go with it. In fact the women's team on the whole haven't helped disprive the stereotype that business is a man's world, which is a real shame. They have all been far too irrational and bitchy, taking everything personally.

That said, none of them are as irritating as that lanky tory streak of ****.
