I can't believe that no one has mentioned the transformation sequence in An American Werewolf in London, or the scene of the guy being stalked in the Tube.

what about the end of TCM with Leatherface swinging the chainsaw around wildly while Sally escapes in the back of the pickup.

From 1998 the begining sequence from Urban Legend where Brad Dourif as a stuttering gas attendent shouts after the girl as she drive off..."There's Someone In The Back Seat" quality!
