Where the hell are you getting these rubbish examples from? Do you even go to gigs?

Cornershop rarely play live and ayways play their big hit when they do. James have loads of hits and always play a mix of old and new.

They didn't play it as Glastonbury the other year, to the grumbling of some in the crowd, but they're one of my favorite current bands and have some absolutely cracking recent albums and I didn't miss Sit Down one bit.

Yeah BSSM was superb, but the rest of their "work" is truly awful, a band where there's no middle ground. I put BSSM down to Rick Rubin.

Nick Cave said it perfectly

I’m forever near a stereo saying, ‘What the **** is this garbage?’ And the answer is always the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

They really should be a singles band. They have 3 albums which I think are good all the way through...Self Titled (the best one, terrific), The Color and the Shape (2nd best, terrific), Wasting Light, then there's There is Nothing Left to Lose, One By One and Concrete and Gold which have a couple of decent tracks, then In Your Honor, Echoes Silence Patience & Grace and Sonic Highways which are all guff!

Couldn't agree more. There is just so much filler in their back catalogue. I honestly don't think I've listened to Echoes Silence etc. since the week it came out. So dreary that all the songs kind of merged into one. I can't think of a single track from the electric disc of In Your Honor but I quite like some of the stuff on the acoustic disc. It's a shame as I really love the debut and Color and Wasting light was a proper return to form. I think that Dave Grohl being a great bloke goes a long way to the good feeling towards the band.
