Can't wait! Think I'll do the same as last time and avoid reading any internet theories, spoilers, reviews etc

Comfortably the best TV-show of 2016 & the recent trailers look equally awesome.

I hope Anthony Hopkins pops up again - for me it was all about his character. I'm avoiding any interweb spoilers/speculation because I don't want to spoil the surprise if he does.

I agree with avoiding online discussion/analysis - some of the big season 1 surprises got predicted and I would have never seen them coming, think I'll enjoy the show a lot more if I wait until I've seen it all.

Hopefully someone will have done a good 'story so far' round up on youtube, as it was fun trying to follow it whilst watching!

I can't remember what happened in season 1 but I know I enjoyed it so will rewatch before season 2.

They had a catch up show last night and am sure I watched all of season 1 but now watching that I feel like I missed some episodes near the end. Might rewatch the last few episodes of season 1 again before I start watching 2.

Was season 1 shown all at once or was it split up like "The walking dead"?

Sky showed all the episodes in one block.

The best recap I've seen is from Gamespot who actually clarified some things which really confused me.

Or if you want to go really in depth into the inner workings of things, check out the always excellent Alt Shift X:

Cheers, for some reason I must have missed episode 10 as remember everything up until then.

Going to watch it.

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks LeftHandGuitarist, they look like good links for me to watch before I start season 2 whenever that will be, as well as Sky's story so far ep.

Pretty decent opening episode, there's quite a different vibe now. More action, less mystery. I still have some quibbles about how slowly it moves, and it looks like we're still going to be dealing with
which honestly gets on my nerves.

Some surprisingly funny moments amidst the carnage.

It's nice to see the human characters acting a bit more like real people rather than an HR appointment waiting to happen, but he new characters continue to be real pieces of scum who treat each other like garbage - I guess that's kind of the point, but this show has always gone over the top with it.

Absolutely hated that and I loved S1.

Just dull shoot em up nonsense with no finesse. The acting was awful, the script cloying.

I enjoyed the opener & the 70+ minutes flew by, but it was definitely lacking something compared to last season.

Getting Maeve to force the script-writer to strip naked was a definite meta moment & I enjoyed that the cheesy line she came out with, In regard to his "manhood" was one of his own programmed lines...

I think it maybe tried to pick up too much too quickly. Like the scene with Ed Harris and the boy. Did that have to be in this episode?

A slightly different style of recap for S1

I watched the companion series west:word.

Terrible as well, and given the show is part of Sky's package with HBO, completely uninformed. Just guesswork and random questions.

Remembering how complicated it is to follow going to wait for a fair few eps to come out before I start watching.
