Here's the breakdown of Sky exclusive and Channel 4 live races this season:

http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/124...-sky-sports-f1

Quote:
March 25: Australian GP - Sky live exclusive
April 8: Bahrain GP
April 15: Chinese GP - Sky live exclusive
April 29: Azerbaijan GP
May 13: Spanish GP - Sky live exclusive
May 27: Monaco GP
June 10: Canadian GP - Sky live exclusive
June 24: French GP - Sky live exclusive
July 1: Austrian GP
July 8: British GP
July 22: German GP - Sky live exclusive
July 29: Hungarian GP - Sky live exclusive
August 26: Belgian GP
September 2: Italian GP - Sky live exclusive
September 16: Singapore GP
September 30: Russian GP - Sky live exclusive
October 7: Japanese GP
October 21: United States GP
October 28: Mexican GP - Sky live exclusive
November 11: Brazilian GP - Sky live exclusive
November 25: Abu Dhabi GP
(note that Channel 4 do not get a completely free choice of which races they want live, there is a back and forth selection process.)

Channel 4 will show highlights later in the day for the races that Sky have live exclusively.

It's the last year of the current arrangement, but it's not yet known what form the free-to-air highlights coverage will take from next year or who will broadcast it.

Is SkySportsMix on Freeview yet, as I’m fairly sure it’ll go there once Sky have it exclusively.

Nice try

I think this season will be more competitive and a bit less two-sided.

Dates for car reveals so far...

15 Feb - Williams
20 Feb - Sauber
21 Feb - Ferrari
22 Feb - Mercedes
23 Feb - McLaren
25 Feb - Toro Rosso

You can’t even tell us when you’re revealing, I thought you were going to be earlier this year to get a head start ?

On Amazon Prime from 9th February:

Quote:
GRAND PRIX Driver goes inside the secretive world of Formula 1 by offering never-before-granted access to the inner workings of McLaren. After three tough years, McLaren is hopeful that this is the year the team will be back on the podium, and they have promoted rookie driver Stoffel Vandoorne alongside two-time world champion Fernando Alonso to work towards this goal. Narrated by Michael Douglas.

No, that's not on Freeview. Sky are currently using it as a bonus for Sky subscribers who don't take Sky Sports.

It will be interesting to see what happens, they're committed to highlights being available free-to-air (and the British Grand Prix live free-to-air) but it's not clear what form that will take e.g. one of Sky's current style of one-hour highlights packages, or something more.

Looks like he's doing the whole WEC season except for clashes with F1... wow! It's so nice to see someone going back to driving in multiple series as used to happen in the distant past.

Bye bye grid girls, I won't miss them, except for the Austrian frauleins, they were nice. I do wonder what'll happen to the Japanese "Race Queens" though, as for them its a business.

The grid girls going will have some people spitting feathers the same way as the news that walk on girls in darts have been canned did.

I like seeing attractive women as much as anyone but they are so completely pointless on the grid, I just can't understand why anyone would get upset that they won't be there.

I suppose if it was your job to parade up and down the grid you'd probably be a little upset as you've lost a good gig.

It's a shame for anyone to lose a job. I would be gutted if my job was considered redundant. Doesn't stop the job being redundant though.

I don't see the harm in it, women want to do it and many have said they like doing it. I think the pressure comes from women who are not so attractive, who are quite militant and bitchy.

On GMB today there was ex "grid girl" who said it was great, had their own security, easy money and then some militant feminist (who never could be a grid girl) of course was glad it was gone. Only watched a bit but couldn't come up with a reason why apart from "sexism!!!!"

On BBC news one weekend there was interview with someone who was gloating about the dart women being sacked. The female presenter said they got calls and emails etc from women who did that and said there liked doing it and it was there choice and the women being interviewed got angry "there is no choice, the choice has been taken away " A real nutcase

Ok, these jobs are not essential but its hardly offensive (its offending these bitter and jealous women) if they wanted "grid-guys" with the women then who gives a ****? Unsocial media is the worse for the **** where you get "nice -guys male-feminist" (who are hoping for a shag if they get enough internet points) defending man-hating women feminists and there is all this **** like is this film feminist, no its sexist eg Mad max fury road

I do yoga (very much a beginner!) and follow this channel on youtube that has a very attractive woman doing yoga. I have female friends and know women who get really bitchy and want her channel stopped or demanding her to wear baggy clothing (which is not suitable for yoga). Honestly they are pathetic

Schedule changes: https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/f...-2018-1001266/

All races will now start at 10 past the hour. All sessions for the European races now also start a further hour later, though the French GP has been moved further back to avoid a clash with a world cup football match.

Edit: Here's an article with a table of UK-based start times:
