The previous season of The Americans IMO took a huge dip in quality & was a real chore to get through as it lost momentum & interesting plot lines led nowhere or just fizzled out.

Thankfully, this season's opener, offered more progress than the entire previous season & set up a lot of potentially interesting plot threads...

Season Two opener of Legion was even more bat **** crazy than the sublime first series....

... and I loved every single second of it. Beautiful combination of film-making, direction, production design & music. Is there any other show that can get away with having their main Good vs Bad action scene being a spectacular interpretive Dance-Off?!?

There's more invention in any random five minutes of this, than the 2+ hours of the bland, overrated Black Panther movie or any of the recent Marvel Netflix shows.

Welcome back!

Totally agree about Legion really like the style of the show.

Not sure I can take much more Marvel, but this feels different.

Dropping Van Helsing about 4 episodes in. Was hoping for a Buffy type lark with a female lead slaying a variety of monsters not some dull uninspired zombie marathon.

Started One Punch Man on Netflix - few episodes in and loving it already.

It's not new, but Wyonna Earp has been filling my Buffy fix for this decade.

Billions continues to go from strength to strength with another fantastic episode this week. The writing is top-quality & the character depth, even down through the smaller players, is untouchable.

Anyone looking for a Buffy/Angel quality Fantasy/comedy/drama, look no further than the splendid The Magicians which just completed another superb (third) season. Some of the acting is below par but the plotting is dense & constantly clever & unpredictable. There was a mostly silent episode this season that was as good as anything I've witnessed on the small screen in years...

Nice to see Legends of Tomorrow fully embracing its stupidity in this weeks season finale. I don't think I've laughed that hard at a tv show for a long time.

Although long hiatus right now, but back at some point, I hope sooner than later.

Ughhhh! ... Caught up with this week's Chicago Med & yes, Manning continues to be an annoying *expletive* & poor Halstead has to dump her Stat! Yes, she's gorgeous but you gotta draw the line somewhere.

Definitely sounds like you need to abandon Suits & get caught up with the stunning The Good Fight for your weekly legal drama fix. You're always guaranteed at least one, topical, entertaining courtroom case per episode & it is also filled with some of the more fascinating characters currently on TV. Comfortably can stand beside the other Titans of lawyer-centric shows which include Boston Legal, The Practice, L.A. Law & obviously The Good Wife....

Plus as an added bonus, it continues to have the best opening credits sequence ahead of anything else out there. The way the orchestra is synched perfectly to the onscreen destruction gives me goose-bumps every time!

agreed. even james gunn (guardians of the galaxy) on twitter was enamored with it

just wanted to say "beebo wants cuddles!"

i will still watch arrow and flash but i've given up hope of them even being decent - let alone good, but i have faith in LoT to add constantine to the mix in s4 and give us a stupid, silly, ridonkeylous but fun as hell show

Silicon Valley and Barry both get early renewals for further seasons.

The Good Fight is absolutely killing it this season. Just brilliant.

Killing Eve looked very promising and the script was very sparky.

Bosch is back but why are 4k / hdr titles such a chore to find on amazon and why do amazon treat the 4k and non 4k shows as separate making starting the show on a non 4k device and moving to a 4k one to finish a real pain in arse

The Good Fight continues to be massively entertaining & their use of today's topical headlines is frighteningly on-the-nose, especially this week's episode that examined how the use of micro-targeting via Facebook (using Fake-News) can potentially influence juries. Both fascinating & scary!

Also last week's episode that has the Democrats going after Trump via the courts was very well handled & judging by next week's preview, we have more to come!

On top of all that, the calibre of guest-stars that get involved is second-to-none; Alan Alda, Margo Martindale, F. Murray Abraham, to name but a few...

Did anyone watch Waco mini-series from a few months back? Is it worth a go?

It's always been like that since the very first episode & is part of its charm. I agree that it currently feels like they were surprised they got a third season & are scrambling to come up with a storyline. Apart from that, it was business as usual & I was grinning from ear-to-ear during the numerous, ridiculous, blood-soaked action scenes...

I'm going to drop Counterpart as I have too much to watch (and also the weather's nicer now, so watching less TV). Saw the first two episodes and although it was good, it didn't really hook me in.

I am definitely continuing to watch Designated Survivor every Thursday evening as soon as I return from work. Despite some needless over-twists, it is well made and watchable IMO.

I also want to watch Timeless but since S2 is not on Netflix, it is awkward. Is it available on catch-up TV or something?

I have continued to watch Lucifer on Amazon. I have also started watching The Crossing; not yet certain if I'll continue.

I watched the first episode of Lost In Space and almost threw-up. As a fan of the original 60s version, I hate this politically correct version with its utterly despicable characters. Horrible "family". I'll definitely NOT continue watching this.
