So so episode for me. The biggest change seemed to be on Saru.

I think it was the second myself, in which case, how can they ever trust him in the future.

Also, more hints at the mirror universe maybe from Engineer Stamets.

On a practicality note, is it really efficient to have your head engineer immobilised whilst connected to a warp drive during the middle of a battle??

You think it might be his mirror double with the more relaxed temperament?

Certainly he seems to be swapping somehow with someone else (the guy in the mirror). So maybe this mirror universe thing is a light mirror as opposed to a dark one. Everyone there is on a jolly.

Love hearts aside maybe he's shifting with a future self where Tilly is indeed the captain.

Do you even need a head engineer in battle, when you can just relocate to across the galaxy at a moment's notice?

So-so episode but for once the Klingon scenes were watchable. Have to say I'm still not impressed with the ship combat scenes. The FX in particular are all over the place, occasionally reasonable but a lot of the time it's just a blurry mess...

Enjoyed it, & the living planet was beautiful, but Saru reminded me of Kryten from Red Dwarf a lot during that episode...

Don't get the love for this. It's OK but no more than that. The Klingon scenes are awful and often unintentionally funny - they come across as incredibly stupid. Jason Isaacs does well though.

Back on form with that last episode.

Felt more like 5 episodes than 9 which I see as a good thing.

Roll on January!

Enjoyed this first stint. The 'Cause & Effect' Mudd episode was the stand out memorable one for me. Really good stuff!

Only issue is getting confused with The Orville!

It's ok, but it's not really that good. The spore drive thing is just stupid and hopefully they can put that to bed now.

Well its back and I enjoyed that
In the week where I saw the first episode of the X Files return and could gladly now never watch another episode of the series due to it, Discovery really made me wish I could have watched the next episode straight away
