I guess MacFarlane's calling in favours from all his famous chums for this given last weeks cameo & this weeks guest star.

I noticed Brannon Braga's name in the credits this week. Has that always been there? & I see it was directed by Jonathan Frakes.

Can we expected a Patrick Stewart/Jean Luc Picard cameo at some point?

Who cares if he is calling in favours the show is continuing it's roll of good episodes that could have been in a lost Trek show.

The cast were on a Twitch stream last night from NY comic con and they really seem to love the show and working on it.

Braga has been there from the start, he’s one of the bigwigs of the show and directed ep 3

So far I am liking this a lot. Very light hearted and entertaining without being too crass.

This is getting better and better and the whole morality thread running through it is a clever touch instead of the normal 'blow it up' approach.

Really hope this runs for a while.

Ratings are not great but if it stays at the current level it should be safe for a further season at least...

Last week's was enjoyable again with a decent turn by their A-Lister guest-star...

Are they falling? Wasn't the premiere highly viewed, the highest viewed for the network in several years?

Edit:

Found this 50% drop off since moving to Thursday night.

Yeah, it got the artificial bump with the first two episodes following Live American Football.

The true ratings are since it hit its regular slot & they are just above the danger-line at the moment...

That's a shame, I prefer this to the new Star Trek.

Episode 4 is tonally perfect. The right balance. It really is Galaxy Quest the next generation and, frankly, one of my favourite shows at the moment.

While episode 6 dealt with lore as now we know a lot more about the Krill and how they think. It would be a shame if this goes the same way as so many other FOX shows.

If the TV ratings are true it's a shame as it's a fun show. I think we need a sci-fi show to be on at the same time as the new Star Trek.

Apparently ratings were up again this week, highest since second week, and I thought last week's episode was very good, abs did that guy remind anyone of Harvey Wiensteine?

Really enjoyed this weeks, was a pretty good look at the world we live in at the moment.

Yep, it wasn't very subtle, but it was fun.

I didn't see it, but wasn't there an episode of Black Mirror last year with a similar premise?

Yes, the most recent season's opener was similar.

It sure wasn't subtle but I enjoyed it again...
