The thread title says spoilers in it, does every thread have to descend into arguments about whether something has been spoiled or not.

I recently binged all 6 seasons in preparation. So I'm all caught up with who is siding with who now. And it's basically everyone in Westeros sided with Danaerys now, apart from the North and Jon/Sansa. That should happen fairly quickly though once he finds out he's her half-brother.

Or given the fact that before the Mad King went off on one and killed Jon's grandad and uncle, the Starks had always supported the Targaryens, hence the 'Warden of the North'.

How will he know though? Will the dragons just know?

Brann will tell him after his vision. Or Littlefinger (he definitely knows/suspects Lyanna actually loved Rhaegar and wasn't really a prisoner in the tower - reference his conversation with Sansa on the subject). Or he might not get hurt by some fire. Varys probably knows/suspects too.

The thread title refers to spoilers from the show MaxNutter, not spoilers from the book (which in this case was more of a potential spoiler). It's not a big deal but I have had my ass chewed out a number of times on these boards for significantly less book spoilers than the one rb dropped through not double checking he'd posted his spoiler tags properly, hence why I pointed this out. Members here can be very sensitive about book spoilers, hence the reason why there is a dedicated GoT thread for book readers.

Fair enough, but LSH (or ZC) and the omission of has been discussed openly by the producers of the show, so it's not a spoiler really.

Not to derail the thread but the spoiler policy on this forum is a mixed bag, some threads it seems fine (any sport, Better Call Saul), the SW:TFA was basically nothing but black boxes and members just going into the thread for no other reason than to argue about spoilers.

It's not a mixed bag, every single example in your post above are original series, when it's a TV/Film adaptation of a book/comic you put book/comic spoilers in spoiler tags. It's not rocket science, it's basic common sense and common courtesy. I feel your pain about bickering over spoilers becauselike I say, I've had my ass chewed out before and seen the completely bizarre aggression of people wanting to avoid spoilers, that's the only reason I jumped on this really.

Last time I watched an episode of GoT it didn't feature an interview with the producers of the show dropping spoilers halfway through. I'm sure all manner of cast/crew have dropped book spoilers in online interviews and post-show discussion shows (whatever they're called, I never watch them), but I would have thought it would be obvious to posters that only a small percentage of viewers of GoT catches those shows and reads those interviews!

It's not really a spoiler though is it? It's something that happened in the books ages ago, equivalent to S3 of the show. It's not going to ever make it into the show four seasons later, and with the TV show overtaking the books.

It'd be like LOTR fans moaning that book readers are mentioning Tom Bombadil before Return Of The King comes out.

It was also something I tried to spoiler but I made a typo that stopped it doing so.

There's still room in GoT show for the introduction of the character, so like I say it's a potential spoiler. At this point it's probably unlikely, just like it's unlikely they'll ever introduce
but you never know!

The thread title says spoilers. If you're afraid of spoilers of any kind be they book or tv then stay out. Why would you enter if you were that snowflakey about it?

Premiere was last night, contains a fair few spoilers if you scroll down the page, new screenshots, cast hints, etc.

On SKY early Monday morning, bit of a GoT night leading up to it. The South Bank show of GRR Martin, the last few episodes and a story so far episode.

Saw this was being simulcast with the US, at 2am on Sky Atlantic, so Sky+'d it and watched it this morning (we're going to cinema tonight so would miss it).

Won't say too much, but its a decent opener.... apart from one scene, and a particular 'cameo'.... the most blatant cameo, ever.

Yep, never has a cameo produced such an audible "Wtf?" as that one.
