We thoroughly enjoyed The Expanse. Proper Sci-Fi. Might be a bit slow for some.

Fans of Timeless/Frequency/time travel might want to checkout Showcase's Travelers, pretty good start two episodes in.

And you can play spot the actors from Continuum.

Really enjoying Chance - a lot.

This Is Us has me hooked as well. It's a heart-tugger but so well done and I'm a sucker for these.

Matt LeBlanc's new sitcom Man With A Plan was fairly dire. Not quite as bad as Kevin Can Wait, but not far off. I think Jenna Fischer made the right choice when she left.

Was jsut saying to a colleague, a find myself enjoying zapped! despite it being tacky it has also got some good casting and the first ep made me laugh out loud a couple of times.

Crazyhead (writer of misfits) is now looking promising two episodes in (weren't sure of it after the first one).

I don't see the point of zapped when the excellent Wonderland has just started its third season with pretty much the same premise.

Pure Genius was ok & the tech was impressive but absurd. Even more advanced than anything seen on the Starship Enterprise!

Ratings were abysmal though so don't see it lasting too long...

Thought the fifth episode of Designated Survivor was ok - more politics and action than family drama. If they stick to that formula it's a decent second-tier show.

The pilot of Stan Against Evil was good horror comedy fun. Worth watching just for John C. McGinley's rants.

The second episode of Man With a Plan was even worse than the first. If you turn the volume up & listen carefully, you can hear the bottom of the barrel being scraped.

Stan Against Evil looks like a poor man's version of Ash v Evil Dead, only with worse actors and a much cheaper budget.

After a decent start, Frequency is starting to bore me now. It's relentlessly miserable, I don't really like either of leads enough & the plot doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Yeah, totally agree. I feel like the only enjoyment I'm taking from this is the beauty of Peyton List despite the fact she has been miscast & is always miserable & pines for a total knob-end from an alternate time-line.

Tempted to dump it & stick with the much more entertaining Timeless for my time-travel kicks...

Atlanta has finished, really enjoyed it although it didn't really go anywhere, maybe he gets famous next season, if there is one.

Started Goliath, so far it's been very good. Love BBT

Chance is still keeping me interested, looking forward to this weeks episode.

Lethal Weapon is fantastic trash TV and the wife loves it.

The plots are insultingly dumb but the chemistry is fine & I love that they have one big super silly action moment every week.

This week we had the slo-mo petrol-tank exploding, flipping a RV & previous, toss a bomb out a skyscraper window & leap out after it, in slo-mo, shooting it & falling into a swimming pool.

Proper 80's action-tv nostalgia.

I'm loving The Exorcist, although it's just on the right side of the fine line between horror and the absurd as it widens the plot avenues. Westworld still fascinates so I'm sticking with it.

I'm really enjoying the darker turn from last year's Lucifer. Tom Ellis showing his serious acting chops along with his campy flair is very welcome after the lightweight first season.
