How does it compare with the Paradise Lost trilogy?

Just finished a binge of The Jinx.... good god. Thanks to those that suggested it. That's just jaw dropping, it's like a documentary makers dream towards the end... or nightmare. Is it me, Durst's eyes are just black and beady wells of evil?

Having read 'The Psychopath Test' book by Jon Ronson a year or two back, I highly recommend the book as a companion to these TV series.

We need to get a list together required watching, a true crime thread?

I thought just the same - his eyes were black/red and demon-ish.

Up to episode 7 and losing none of its grip - i would have watched the whole season in one sitting had I not started so late last night. And to think i though how are they going to spread this over 10 hours.

I'm not the type to binge watch but couldn't help it with this. Takes a different direction around half way through when it becomes heavily court orientated, but was still great throughout!

There is a good summary of the evidence not presented to the jury here

After taking time to reflect, it is clearly a manipulative documentary. My own view is

I'm also not convinced he's innocent but I doubt I could have been convinced to convict him either.

Is there a quick way to show spoiler stuff on an iPad? I was sure I'd seen a "show spoiler" button somewhere....

Does copy and pasting into notes work? I think I had to end up using Tapatalk or Forumrunner in the end.

I'm not sure, would you fancy releasing him back into your local community? You'd have to face the locals.

I'd have to follow the judges instructions and the law. He has to be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt and IMO the prosecution were a mile away from that.

As for the cat... it's mentioned early on in the series that he tried to throw a cat over a fire, but the cat got caught by the flames.
