Nothing in my local HMV...didn't have time to check anywhere else.

I'll post back if I source another one.

My set arrived today. God-damn Arrow have pulled out all the stops with the packaging and feebies. You get a 200pg hardback book that would probably sell for £15 separately in Waterstones!

That's the store I mentioned earlier in the thread. I called again just now, and he told me the title is discontinued and they don't have any more.

I called Bromley as well, and she said they received one copy on the 19th October and it sold the same day.

Croydon were supposed to get 2 copies in, but didn't.

Why do people post pictures of their sets? Is it because you think we won't believe you if you say it's arrived?

I got mine yesterday as well, watched Hellraiser and Hellbound for Halloween.

Hellraiser's as great as ever and Arrow's transfer looks the best the film ever has - there's a couple of shots where the grain is a bit swarmy, but otherwise it's great.

Hellbound is as shonky as it ever was: the Cenobite bits are great and Cranham's fun when THE DOCTOR IS IN but you can have the rest.

Didn't bother with Hell on Earth. Watched the Leviathan docs and they're both pretty great. I'm not sure I could have watched them unedited though, I dunno. I like how candid Pete Atkins is.

I bought the Leviathan dvd a few months back before Arrow announced the set and the longer Documentary on the first film does drag a little. It spends over an hour even before it gets to the making of the film.

Out of curiosity, is the infamous surgeon deleted scene as rubbish as people involved with the 2nd film suggest?

Yes it is, the qualitys pretty good but you can see why they didn't bother finishing shooting the scene. There's a few "scene missing" inserts where you can tell had they finished the scene they would have been close ups of the cenobites.

I've been bidding on ebay left, right nd centre for one of these bad boys, but they always go for more than £85 and that's way over my budget.
