Forgot to pre-order this and have missed out now. Shame, as I also missed out on the Dr. Phibes set and Videodrome (the latter of which I did eventually get by paying an inflated price for it on ebay).

My Black Cats set turned up today though, and it looks great! I like Fulci's version but haven't seen the other one by Martino before.

Today's update from Arrow:

Quote:
***HELLRAISER SCARLET BOX SHIPPING UPDATE***
Following on from our previous update (which you can view here: http://on.fb.me/1O4DVvi) we are very pleased to confirm that all of the boxsets have now been shipped out from our distribution centre and are en route to the Arrow warehouse and other retailers. The boxsets have been marked as high importance so retailers will be packing and shipping these out as fast as they possibly can. UK customers can expect to receive their sets by Thursday, barring any postal faults.

As you can imagine getting these sets into your hands is currently our top priority and we are doing all we can to try and get these to you all as quickly as possible. We really appreciate your patience and very much hope you enjoy your sets once they arrive!

Same! Not holding out any hope for it, though.

No me neither tbh though all I want is the films I'm not fussed about fancy packaging or a book I'll never read. If I have to wait for the individual releases it's no great loss.

I think I will stay with my DVD set (even The Sun giveaways and the Poundland special editions were uncut) as there is really is nothing new.

I own all the Memory, Prophecy and Fantasy books by Phil & Sarah Stokes...knowing one of their books is in this set, sold it to me before I'd even seen the Blu-Ray contents.

Arrow turning into Twilight Time.

I'm another one who doesn't care about packaging, books, posters etc. But when they do have a general release its not going to include the extra disc with short films

BFI have some...

This release sums up everything I despise about limited editions. OOP two weeks before release.

Just waiting for my delivery from Amazon Logistics. Doesn't feel like 11 years since we were all enjoying our flimsy Anchor Bay cube sets...

Why call them 'flimsy'? I would not call them that,The films should be important then the extras put on them.

I was referring to the physical structure of the silly box, not the (excellent) quality of its contents.
