61 tracks?! That's like 4 hours.

The concert is at 7pm with no support group so if they finish at 11pm... Well Jel!

Last time I saw them they played 3 hours with a support band (Mudhoney) so 4 hours with no support is not out the question.

Show was great but the organisation by the venue was not awesome in terms of getting people in. They played just over 3 hours and 30 songs.

Heh well I'll find out how good or bad it is when I am going over to Portland and Spokane in November I don't really care how I get in as long I am in GA!

I liked the single Mind Your Manners but it didn't stoke my fire in anticipation of the album.

This track on the other hand ...

First listen to Sirens, I was thinking WTF? This doesn't sound remotely like Pearl Jam. Second listen feels very different though, much better (and I don't think the video helps it).

It couldn't sound more like Pearl Jam if it stood in the middle of the road playing Pearl Jam's greatest hits

Really? The intro sounds like the start of a Dawson's Creek episode or something.

Heh, I hope the album is overall a good one since the US tour will be primarily focusing on this album! If any of the songs boots off Just Breathe their tour set lists then I'll be happy either way! 9 weeks to go!

Album is streaming on iTunes. After a few plays it seems, to me, more immediate and satisfying than Backspacer and their ST album.

Early favourites are the sombre Pendulum, the energetic Let The Records Play that has a nice outro guitar solo and Infallible with its funky synth (is it a Wurlitzer?) in the background.

Sirens is still the stand out track for me but it's an enjoyable album on the whole and probably my favourite since Riot Act.

Heard it through a few times in the car - standout tracks are Sirens and Infallible so far. As for the rest....I am not quite 'feeling it' yet.

Hopefully its more of a grower for me. I liked Backspacer when it came out, but half of that album is unlistenable now.

Thanks to Amazon Autorip, have been listening to the album this morning.

First impressions, mostly okay. It's a lot more varied than Backspacer, but also suffers from a small group of punky songs which all sound the same (which has really bugged me as something they seem obsessed with since their self-titled album). As the album continues, a lot more variety does come in.

The main thing I'm feeling at the moment is that the album lacks any emotion. Eddie in particular is a bit of a let down in terms of lyrics and melodies, he's just forgettable here.

More listens may change my view. Infallible is awesome. Also noticed that Sirens is a completely different mix/take on the album compared to the single that was released.
