Yeah, I moved up from Brum a year ago. I thought PAD would be a good chance to get to know the town a bit better. Though so far I've taken two macro shots in my kitchen, so the master plan of seeing more of Sheffield hasn't really come off yet

That's actually pretty cool with the soft focus and all the daisys around it.

Maybe if we get stuck for inspiration we can have a Sheffield PAD meet (I am sure someone else is from here) - I've been looking for an excuse to take some photos in town.

My 2 July Shot - a nice get out of jail macro!

I'll put mine in taken with my new A300. Loads to learn and stacks of reading to do before I get anywhere near the standards on here but here goes:

I could swear I've seen this before, particularly the imprinted pattern on the plastic, on a device of some sort but have no idea what it is!

Well done to everyone so far........I was soooooo tempted to join in again this year but decided against based on my complete lack of inspiration at the moment, I felt it would drive me bonkers so decided to retain my sanity

Good luck everyone!

As usual there's the DVDF's high standard of pictures yet again

I went for a walk to the local park, and ended up taking the foot grate of a National Gas van parked outside someone's house .... go figure

Day 2 pic from me. Found this US flag on a house (in Sussex, England), which didn't look in great shape which rather reflects the state of the country in some ways I thought. It actually looks worse in the flesh but the camera seems to have taken pity and pepped it up a bit.

Finished shooting my second day's photo this afternoon after having a flash of inspiration while out on a 5 mile run (so don't have to dip into my backup list). Was hoping to use my Sigma 30mm but ended up with the Tamron 90mm again. Nice being able to relax for the evening without having to panic at deadlines. Will add it to flickr tommorrow.

Lucky sod. I walked out of the house this morning without my bag and I'm not home till late, so I'll probably have to fudge something later... Grrr.

Had a day where I didn't feel much like taking photos today, but took a few in the field near work and then realised that I'd be posting one very similar to yesterday's so here's a poppy instead:

Photo-a-day Challenge: Day Two

Might be some dodgy processing on that, I'm a bit tired and I'd overcooked the exposure when I took it.

You'll have to join in next year, for the 5th anniversary, as I'm thinking of giving prizes out.
