Just booked The Breeders in April in Birmingham. Can't wait for that one.

26th Jan - Seasick Steve - Birmingham
17th Feb - The Ting Tings - Oxford
13th April - The Breeders - Birmingham
25th April - Bjork - Wolverhampton
23rd May - Girls Aloud - Birmingham (sue me!)
6 / 7th June - Foo Fighters - Wembley
15th June - Radiohead - Nimes
18th June - Radiohead - Milan

29th June - Radiohead - Manchester

Really hoping New Young Pony Club come back over here this year and debated about trying to see Kelly Clarkson - I hear she is quite good live - but tickets are Ł30!!!

16th Jan - Stephen Fretwell - Manchester Night & Day
29th Jan - Paramore - Manchester Apollo
14th March - Kelly Clarkson - Manchester Apollo
? April - Elbow - Manchester Academy

are all I have tickets or places for just yet.

If you like Kelly Clarkson, go see her. Two years ago at the MEN Arena she was phenomenal and the atmosphere was rather berserk to say the least. Clip below may convince you :

How did you find Alter Bridge? I saw them in Birmingham on the 22nd, I thought they were awesome. Good banter from Myles (although Mark tried to mumble something into his mic towards the end, and everyone just went "Huh?" ). Mark's gurning during the solos was also pretty amusing!

Just about everything was note-perfect from the records. They did a couple of covers too, one good, one not so good. Kashmir just didn't work for me, but Miles' solo Robert Johnson number was fantastic. My girlfriend had never heard 'Travelin Riverside Blues' before, so the look on her face after the "You can squeeze my lemon til the juice runs down my leg" line was priceless!

We're off to see Alter Bridge tonight and really looking forward to it

Who were supporting Tony?

I missed the name - they weren't very good tbh. I thought the sound was going to be poor for Alter Bridge, but it turned out that it was just that the support was crap! Far too muddy and fuzzy, couldn't tell what was going on. Don't worry if you don't get there early, anyway!

Edit: If you're guitar fans, stand over on the right side as close as you can get. Mark Tremonti spends most of his time over there, he only wandered about a few times.

Thanks for that, the last time I saw them at the Astoria they had the amazing Shinedown as support

We usually get to the Astoria early to get a good spot so we'll have to endure the support tonight

Alter Bridge were amazing. They really make it look effortless. I got some great footage of full songs including 9 minute Blackbird. I'll stick them on Youtube and give links soon.

Got more booked up than I have in years - normally have one or two on the horizon at the most

Feb - Kid Harpoon (Chatham)
Feb - Lightspeed Champion (Canterbury)
April - Bjork (Hammersmith)
May - Nick Cave (Hammersmith)

Hopefully add something to those when I go to New York for a few days in April, but at the moment there is nothing on at the moment which I particularly wish to see while I am over there.

I've got to suffer the pile of **** that is Kula Shaker tonight!
Luckily I'll only see three songs before getting booted out into the street.
My gig going starts up properly next week with Alphabeat and possibly a Claytown Troupe warm up show.
I've also got Theatre Of Hate,Robyn and Jonna Lee this month alongside a few more gigs no doubt and will be jetting off to Texas in a month for SXSW sampling some of the 1'500 bands on offer.
